Most AI models are trained on internet data dominated by Western contexts.

They know what a dollar is. They do not know what kobo is. They can write a Stripe integration. They cannot write a NIBSS NIP integration. They understand GDPR. They have never heard of NDPR.

700,000 software developers in Nigeria alone. A fintech sector processing billions of transactions annually. Zero AI systems built specifically for them.

This is not a gap we intend to complain about. It is a gap we are building to close.

What We Build

Axiveri develops domain-specific AI model series for Africa — starting with language models and expanding into health, security, legal, and financial intelligence.

Our first model series is Africlaude.

Africlaude models are fine-tuned large language models trained on curated knowledge covering:

• Nigerian fintech engineering (Paystack, Flutterwave, NIBSS, kobo/naira)
• CBN regulatory compliance and KYC frameworks
• AML, fraud detection, and transaction monitoring
• USSD architecture and Africa's Talking integration
• African language contexts — Pidgin English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo
• Security engineering for African infrastructure

Africlaude — Coming Soon

Africlaude is our flagship model series — a family of language models fine-tuned specifically for African developers, engineers, and professionals.

Africlaude 7B is the first release.

Trained across 9 cycles on Tesla T4 GPU infrastructure. Evaluated on AfriclaudeBench v1.0 — a benchmark we designed specifically to measure AI competency in African fintech and developer domains.

Our Approach

We believe the next generation of AI for Africa will not come from importing models built elsewhere and hoping they work here.

It will come from organisations embedded in the African context — who understand what it means to build for 2G networks, USSD sessions, agent banking, CBN regulatory frameworks, and a developer community growing faster than any on earth.

We are building that infrastructure. Open. African. Rigorous.
