Please Release a BF16 DiT Model for MiniMax Music 3!
I would like to strongly request the release of a true BF16 version of the MiniMax Music 3 DiT model.
The current model files include FP16, FP32, and INT8 variants, but there does not appear to be a clearly labeled, officially provided BF16 DiT model. A BF16 release would be extremely valuable for users who want to run MiniMax Music 3 with modern hardware while maintaining the numerical stability and quality advantages of BF16.
In particular, BF16 offers a very attractive balance between precision, memory usage, and performance. For users running the model on GPUs with native BF16 support, having an actual BF16 checkpoint would make local inference significantly more practical and would avoid unnecessary conversion or uncertainty regarding the dtype of the currently available files.
If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if the community or maintainers could provide an officially verified minimax_music3_dit_bf16.safetensors checkpoint.
MiniMax Music 3 is an extremely impressive model, and providing a properly labeled BF16 DiT would make it much more accessible to the local AI community. I believe many users with modern NVIDIA/AMD GPUs would benefit from this.
Please consider adding an official (for ComfyUI) BF16 DiT release. It would be greatly appreciated.
