Model Overview

Matrix Prime 8B is a high-precision technical reasoning engine based on the Llama 3 8B architecture. It was developed to overcome the "Technical Hallucination" common in small-parameter models when dealing with complex physical equations and 3D spatial dynamics.

The Breakthrough

Matrix Prime represents a breakthrough in 8B-parameter technical accuracy. During validation, the model successfully solved a complex 3D Mass Moment of Inertia tensor problem involving rotational dynamics, a task where base Llama 3 8B and other fine-tunes consistently hallucinate. This was achieved through a balanced instruction-tuning process that prioritized mathematical consistency over simple conversational surface patterns.

  • Final Training Loss: 0.65
  • Methodology: 16-bit Merged LoRA weights for maximum stability.
