Eve Aline Plumb, born on April 29, 1958, in Burbank, California, is an American actress, singer, and painter. She is best known for portraying Jan Brady, the middle daughter in the iconic ABC sitcom The Brady Bunch, which aired from 1969 to 1974. โ€‹

Early Life and Career

Plumb began her acting career at a young age, appearing in television commercials in 1966. By 1967, she had guest roles on series such as The Virginian, The Big Valley, and Lassie. Her breakthrough came in 1969 when she was cast as Jan Brady. The character often dealt with middle-child challenges and sibling rivalry, leading to the memorable catchphrase, "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" โ€‹

Post-Brady Bunch Career

After The Brady Bunch concluded, Plumb took on more dramatic roles, notably portraying a teenage runaway in the 1976 NBC television film Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway. She also played Beth March in the 1978 miniseries adaptation of Little Women. Throughout the years, Plumb reprised her role as Jan Brady in various spin-offs and reunions, including The Brady Brides (1981) and A Very Brady Christmas (1988).
