You can use 'Stitch Images' node to put several images together, used along with a resize node and a background removal node if needed.

by design it only takes a single image with all of the reference images combined within it into a grid/cell format as they describe. That said, I still can't get it to work.
I'm still learning how to get this working, too.

I wonder why the examples don't have embedded workflows?
