how is it so bad at mcp usage?
many claims it's really good, but it fails the most basic mcp calls and almost never follow the instructions, not to mention the fact that after a single message it starts going completely rogue ignoring the messages or interpreting them as it sees fit...
run on latest llamacpp server with your very same config
I am having trouble as well man. My use case is browser agent with LLM tool calls via LMstudio backend.
Same thing, although I tried with llama-server and my own harness's tools. not mcp. This model was the only one so far that I observed to frequently use the tools specified with the OpenAIAPI request with malformed parameters - using python format instead of json for example. Will still try and analyze what I can do about this. Simpler tools are easier for it to understand.
