Access Request: TITAN Pre-trained Weights for WSI Research
Dear Mahmood Lab Team,
I am a graduate researcher at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech), working under the supervision of Professor Ching-Wei Wang. Our laboratory specializes in Computational Pathology and Digital Histopathology, with a strong focus on developing advanced deep learning frameworks for large-scale clinical applications. Our recent works have been published in leading journals, including npj Digital Medicine, Medical Image Analysis, and npj Precision Oncology.
My current research focuses on the clinical application of Whole Slide Imaging (WSI), specifically for molecular alteration prediction (e.g., EGFR mutation and TMB). Given our laboratory's extensive experience with datasets like TCGA, I am eager to integrate TITAN into my research workflow.
I intend to utilize TITAN’s multi-modal pre-trained representations to benchmark against our existing models and further explore representation learning for predicting EGFR mutations directly from WSIs. Access to the TITAN weights will be instrumental in advancing my Master’s thesis and our lab's ongoing research in precision oncology.
Identification and Compliance:
Purpose: The model will be used strictly for non-commercial, academic research as part of my degree requirements.
