[Bug] Jinja template parse failure

In the GPT4All Desktop application, the Jinja template for Nanbeige models causes an error due to the expression [::-1] on line 46 column 36. The library used in GPT4All is minja.

Likely GPT4All's fault, the model's Jinja-template has nothing to do with the error. Parsing works with llama.cpp and most of its updated derivatives, like KoboldCPP.
Since GPT4All is built using llama.cpp, you might want to try simply updating it.

GPT4All has been in maintenance mode since April 2025, so there aren't any updates coming for it. However the user base is still large since the application is sweeter than baby’s breath.
