Chinese values made this model possible in the very first place, and made it possible for you to fine-tune it at all.
Western values mean: Let's become proprietary and put our own interests ahead of the interests and well-being of the whole damn planet.
or wanna try to 'enforce' arabic/african/eastern/slavic/whatever values into western's most advanced llms? not possible, you don't even know if this is actually one llm what they sell you.

In another point: They've wasted compute just to train this model. It's quite sad to see because I was actually waiting new models from Nous like Hermes, and they were silent since the, just to release a model that enforces "western values" into a Chinese model.
