If you have problems with the LTXVNormalizingSampler node

EDIT: Forget what I wrote below.

If you are having problema with the node, you need to install the ComfyUI-LTXVideo package manually.

Instead of changing security level (that only apply to ComfyUI manager), you can also simply open custom_nodes folder and git clone https:/// what ever repro you need.
And in case you already have it installed, go to custom_nodes/the_folder_of_the_nodepack and use command git pull

Thats it ;-)

Still won't show up as installed in the Manager though, but the workflow will work perfectly.

For anyone was late to the party like me, the workflow probably is throwing you an error for the LTXVNormalizingSampler, which is a node from the ComfyUI-LTXVideo, that you can't install anymore for some reason if you didn't before whatever is broken.

For the workflow to work, you need to replace that missing node with the SamplerCustomAdvanced, it has all the same connection as the other node, so it's a matter of reconnecting everything.

After that, the workflow should work.

The normalizing sampler is really good though... what is breaking about it?

Well, when you load the workflow, the missing node window briefly shows up, then quickly disappears on its own like if you had installed it. But the node remains red.

If you try to search for the package, it shows up like this:

2026-01-23 225848

No matter how many tries you try to click on install, sometimes the author appears as unclaimed, and in the legacy / original manager, it says that the address couldn't be reached.

And when you try to run the workflow anyways, this shows up:

Replacing it with this other node was the only way that I got the workflow to work. No idea if the output quality is being affected.

This doesn't happen with my installation. Is there any other user who can share dragonmp93's experience? I don't think so. Because the sampler is still there. The LTX-nodes have been changed January 15 for the last time.

"and in the legacy / original manager, it says that the address couldn't be reached"

What is the original manager for you?

ltx1

The normalizing sampler still seems to be working fine for me... I'm not getting any of those errors.

Yeah, that's the one that I was talking about.

And when I try to install it:

And after you restart Comfy:

If you try to the Install Via Git URL, you get this:

Okay, that's a setting by ComfyUI which you have to change because ComfyUI's security levels are strict - for users who don't know what they do and are too lazy to google...

Hint: third answer (2nd one isn't updated).

Oh wow, that actually did work, thanks.

Either manager refused to installed it for some reason.
