License clarification: using Z-Anime outputs for commercial model training
Hello, thank you for releasing Z-Anime.
I am evaluating whether Z-Anime-generated images may be used as synthetic training data for a separate lightweight image generation model that could eventually be used in a commercial product.
Could you please clarify:
- Whether images generated by Z-Anime may be used to train another model;
- Whether a model trained on such generated images may be distributed or used commercially;
- Whether there are any additional restrictions beyond the Apache-2.0 license shown on the model page.
Thank you very much.
Hello, thank you for asking.
From my side, Z-Anime is released under the Apache-2.0 license, and I do not add any extra restrictions beyond the license shown on the model page.
So yes, from my side:
Images generated with Z-Anime may be used as synthetic training data for another model.
A model trained on such generated images may be distributed or used commercially.
I do not impose additional restrictions beyond Apache-2.0.
That said, I cannot give legal advice. Please make sure your own use case, dataset, prompts, and outputs rights are handled correctly.
But regarding Z-Anime itself: I do not restrict synthetic-data training or commercial use beyond the Apache-2.0 license.
