Stargate Africa advances sovereign artificial intelligence through open-weight language and speech models, with a focus on African languages, cultural relevance, and data sovereignty.

Our mission is to make powerful AI accessible to African communities in their own languages, including through voice-first technology designed for multilingual, low-resource, and low-literacy environments.

We believe Africa should not simply consume AI built elsewhere. Africa should build, own, and shape its own AI future.
