still loving the beta5. beats any singularity for audio
just wanted to say how much I love the beta5 hybrid non turbo. great visuals (almost on par with singularity but still amazing) and holds the ref audio unlike literally every singularity I just tried.
I wish 10eros would just make a purely SFW checkpoint and focus on non turbo, because I love this visual quality. the turbo one is also good (beta 5) and I use that a lot for ,um , other things 🤥 keep it up.
beta6 has really good motion and performance quality, but I still love beta5 for SFW.

B5 is probably as SFW as you can get tbh. It's an extremely normalized version and tbh most of it's quality comes from the pairing of all three things: the merge, the turbo I merged specifically for the merge, and the 1024 delta hybrid base used. There's no reason to redo it, improve it, or remodel anything based on that if it works that well. It's just a base-model specific version that saves a lot of overhead by combining things effeciently and redoing any parts of it would probably make something not as good. Currently though I made big improvements to merging actual change without upsetting base model and reference ability like in beta6, so beta7 would be like 5 but with some tricks for sure. There are plenty of base H3 shifts around though to do SFW stuff and maybe b5 is just one of the better ones and that's just that but if I get really bored instead of focusing on the nsfw side of things I could focus on creating a cinematic high quality base model merge under a different brand.

I feel the same way. B6 and B7 are both very clean and sharp comparing to B5, almost like higher resolution version under the same pixels. But B6 and B7 both have face drifting issue, at least from what I've tested. B5 seems to keep the face from the ref pretty well. And I think B5 still preserves more vivid colour tones and better lighting comparing to the later version. If Beta8 can lock the ref face as good I'll definitely switch, but for now I'll keep B5 in my Unet loader in Comfy.

Face drifting issue occured in my testing using refmod too, Beta5 was for sure better in that sense.
