H3 Ripple
H3 Ripple is a LoRA for MiniMax H3 FL2VA, designed to carry edits from selected frames through an existing video shot.
Choose one or two anchor frames, edit them in your preferred image editor, and use Ripple to guide the change across the selected shot. Anchors can be placed at useful moments along the timeline. The accompanying ComfyUI nodes support uploaded edits and images from local editing models such as Qwen Image 2.1.

Requirements
- A current ComfyUI installation with ComfyUI-WepeNerd.
- Compatible MiniMax H3 FL2VA weights, the H3 text encoder and video VAE.
- The H3 Ripple LoRA from this repository. The workflows below also use the H3 Turbo 4-step LoRA.
The local-editor workflow also requires Qwen Image 2.1 and its text encoder and VAE. Both downloads include a model card with exact model links, filenames and destination folders. See the setup guide for installation instructions.
Quick start
- Place
minimax_H3_Ripple-v1.safetensorsinComfyUI/models/loras/H3/. - Download a workflow below, drag the JSON onto your ComfyUI canvas, and select your model files in its loaders.
- In Ripple Clip, choose the video, time window, size and crop, then position your anchors.
- Edit the anchor images while keeping their framing and composition consistent. Upload the edits to their cards, or connect your image editor's outputs.
- Run the workflow and review the source/result comparison.
| Workflow | Editing method |
|---|---|
| H3 Ripple Simple | Download anchor frames, edit externally, and upload the results. |
| H3 Ripple โ Local Editor | Edit both anchors with local Qwen Image 2.1 nodes. |
Ripple Output is enabled in both downloads. Queuing the local-editor workflow runs the Qwen edits and the H3 video render. Replace both example edit instructions with your intended change and keep the anchors consistent. The optional API editing nodes are bypassed and are not required for the local path.
Included workflow settings
- Ripple and Turbo LoRA strengths: 1.0 each
- H3 sampling with Turbo enabled: 4 steps,
euler, simple, CFG 1 - Saved output size: 1 MP; reduce it in Ripple Clip if needed for your hardware
- Simple: 90 frames / 3.75 seconds, one anchor
- Local Editor: 124 frames / 5.17 seconds, two anchors; Qwen uses 25 steps,
euler,simple, CFG 1 - Frame rate: 24 fps
Keep Ripple Apply's default propagation prompt. Describe the visual change in your image editor instead. Size and duration can be adjusted in Ripple Clip.
Limitations
Results depend on the source footage and the consistency of the edited anchors. Fast motion, occlusion and large viewpoint changes can make an edit harder to carry through the shot. Generated frames may also change details outside the intended edit.
