About normalization of the models

After struggling a lot of time, I discovered that to normalize the images, we have to scale [0,1] and then NOT normalize by mean and standard deviation. At least for models S1, S2 and b. (In the website the explanation is wrong)
This is the conclusion I went up to. If anyone has other opinion I am happy to hear it.
