uBO Enhanced

uBO Enhanced is a modified, independent fork of uBlock Origin Lite. This project optimizes the extension's configuration for improved efficiency and streamlines the manifest data for users who prefer a stripped-back, standalone deployment.

Key Enhancements

• Optimized Configuration: The config.js file has been overhauled to improve core execution efficiency and runtime robustness.
• Streamlined Manifest: Removed specific extension identifiers and keys from the manifest file to provide a clean, generic baseline.
• Disabled Auto-Updates: The update URL extension key has been completely removed from the manifest configuration to prevent automatic overwrites and maintain version stability.
• Intact Core Functionality: All underlying content-blocking capabilities, privacy protections, and state-handling mechanics from the original upstream project remain entirely unchanged.

Installation

Since this version is unlisted and modified, it must be installed manually via developer mode:

1. Download the repository source code and extract the ZIP file to a local folder.
2. Open your chromium-based browser and navigate to the extensions management page (chrome://extensions).
3. Enable the Developer mode toggle switch in the top-right corner.
4. Click the Load unpacked button in the top-left corner.
5. Select the local folder containing the extracted source code and manifest file.
