Request for Reconsideration / Reset of Rejected SAM 3.1 Access
Hello Meta SAM Team,
My access request to facebook/sam3.1 was recently rejected. I would like to kindly request a manual reconsideration or a reset of my application so that I can provide any missing information.
I am an undergraduate student at Xidian University, conducting non-commercial academic research on 3D Gaussian Splatting and multi-view object segmentation.
I intend to use SAM 3.1 locally for generating and propagating object masks across multi-view images in public research datasets such as Mip-NeRF 360. SAM 3.1 will be used purely as a segmentation component in an academic research pipeline and for benchmarking segmentation methods.
The model weights will not be redistributed or exposed as a public service, and I will comply with the SAM 3.1 license, acceptable-use requirements, Meta policies, and Hugging Face terms.
