Request for reconsideration of SAM 3.1 access for academic research

Hi Meta team,
My SAM 3.1 access request was recently rejected. I’m an undergraduate student using SAM 3.1 for non-commercial academic research on detecting, segmenting, classifying, and counting plant trichomes in scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images.
I will not redistribute the model weights or access credentials.
Could you please reconsider my request, or reset it so I can resubmit if any information was incomplete?
