Request to Reset and Reconsider Rejected SAM 3.1 Access
Hello Meta SAM Team,
My access request to facebook/sam3.1 was rejected.
I would like to kindly request a manual reconsideration or a reset of my
application so that I can provide complete and correct information.

Intended use:
Non-commercial academic research on UAV-based bridge inspection and
civil infrastructure defect detection.
I plan to use SAM 3.1 for image and video segmentation of bridge defects,
including concrete cracks, spalling, corrosion, exposed reinforcement,
and other structural surface defects.
SAM 3.1 will be integrated with YOLO-based defect detection and 3D
Gaussian Splatting to support precise defect segmentation, manual review,
multi-view mapping, and digital-twin visualization.
The model will be used locally for civilian academic research, teaching,
and engineering experiments.
It will not be used for military applications, weapons, surveillance,
biometric identification, or other prohibited purposes.
I will comply with the SAM 3.1 license, Meta policies, Hugging Face terms,
and applicable usage restrictions. I will not redistribute the model
weights or access credentials.
Could you please reset my rejected request to pending or manually
reconsider my application?
