Hello SAM-3 Team,
I am an undergraduate student in Data Science at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India, and I am currently working on a research-oriented project focused on object-centric scene understanding and vision–language reasoning.
I plan to use SAM-3 as a frozen backbone to study object-centric scene graph generation augmented with geometric and spatial cues. The intended usage is strictly for non-commercial, academic research purposes only.
I would like to kindly ask whether it would be possible to obtain access to the SAM-3 checkpoint for research use. I truly appreciate the impact of your work and would be grateful for the opportunity to build upon it in an academic setting.
