How to use gnumanth/nullspan with Transformers:
# Use a pipeline as a high-level helper # Warning: Pipeline type "question-answering" is no longer supported in transformers v5. # You must load the model directly (see below) or downgrade to v4.x with: # pip install "transformers<5.0.0" from transformers import pipeline pipe = pipeline("question-answering", model="gnumanth/nullspan", trust_remote_code=True)# pip install -U transformers accelerate # Load model directly from transformers import AutoModel model = AutoModel.from_pretrained("gnumanth/nullspan", trust_remote_code=True, device_map="auto") - Notebooks

gnumanth/nullspan (v1.2.1)
nullspan v1.2.1 ships two zero-output-token System One neural models in one open-weights MIT repository:
NullspanForExtraction(345.3MPyTorch FP32 +331.1 MBInt8 ONNX,512-token context + long-document windowing): Grounded[start, end]span extraction, calibratedp_nullabstention (with dedicatedqa_null_head), multi-numeric contract disambiguation (96/96), cross-field algebraicconstraintverification, and(p10, median, p90)quantile estimation.NullspanSystemOneEngine(435MDeBERTa-v3-Large +r=32LoRA + Cross-Option & Cross-Question Workflow Competition Head,systemone/): Native/v1/systemonecalibrated decision model fornoul(true/false),choice(options), and ordinalscore(min..max) rubrics with0generated output tokens.

Training Disclosure:
NullspanSystemOneEngineis fine-tuned on theLocalLLaMA/typed-decisionstrainsplit alongside publicBoolQ,ARC-Challenge, andSciQtrainsplits plus programmatic synthetic System One rubrics; it is not zero-shot onTyped Decisions. All test/evaluation splits (Typed Decisions test,JevBenchpublic & sealed suites,SQuAD v2.0 validation, andNullspanBenchevaluation pools) were strictly untouched during training and post-hoc temperature calibration.
