Abstract

We present Y7 OS, an AI-first Linux distribution designed from the ground up for low-resource hardware with native bilingual Arabic/English support. Named after its creator (Yahya), Y7 OS integrates a local AI assistant directly into the operating system fabric, eliminating cloud dependency while targeting legacy and low-specification machines including the HP ProDesk 400 G4, Dell OptiPlex 7080, and MSI GT70.
