An axial attention transformer for haplotype matrices, pre-trained with self-supervised masked haplotype reconstruction.

Model Description
Popformer is pre-trained on masked haplotype reconstruction and evaluated on:
- Natural selection detection
- Genotype imputation
- Population classification
