Change in Art style ?
Hi lilly, thank you for your work. I just wanted to know if the process changes the artstyle significantly? I have my own custom artstyle lora which looks great but often the lighting isn't exactly what I wanted. Exporting to blender is a great idea for finetuning lighting but I'm worried about the change in art style.
Yes, the style will drift. That's what the "MP" stands for in the title (Material Preview). This workflow is tailored for a 3d-like workflow. Eventually I will train AnyLight to be artstyle agnostic, but this LoRA is just the "foot in the door." It's easy to make it artstyle agnostic, as I can just use Qwen Image Edit to create a synthetic dataset from the real 3D data. The issue is that training will take much longer, so it'll come sometime later. Right now I have another idea I am exploring to help facilitate this 3D workflow, after which I'll make this agnostic.
