What languages for lyrics and vocals are supported?
I couldn't find that information on the model card.
Because it's trained on CC0 and synthetic datasets, language support might be quite broad. Besides the languages featured in the demo songs, Polish and French are supported.
Their demo page https://map-yue2.github.io/ shows only these languages in the dropdown.
Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish
I also tested it in Brazilian Portuguese, and it seems to sound good—unlike other models I’ve tested that didn't handle Portuguese accents well (such as SongGeneration 2 or Levo 2). So, even though it isn't listed as an official language, pt-BR sounds good.
The confirmation is that Romanian is supported. It is very rare for these models to support my country's language, which means it may support other less common languages.
Greek too, tested, it seems good.
Yue2 can sing in Spanish flawlessly and without mispronunciations, but it lacks training in many Hispanic musical genres. The open-source community will have to get to work on this.
