Request to access Llama 3 models
I am a student and need the weights for a project.
Hello Meta Llama team,
I’m a PhD student in the GCCIS department at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), working on LLM research. I previously requested access to Llama-3.2-3B-Instruct on Hugging Face, but my request was rejected. I did not receive a reason, so I’m not sure what went wrong.
One possibility is that I submitted the request while traveling, so my IP/geographic location may not have matched my university location. Regardless, my intended use is strictly academic research and experimentation (non-commercial), and I will fully comply with the model license and acceptable use policy.
Could you please help review my case and, if possible, reset/unreject my prior request so I can re-submit, or directly approve my access?
