Base model
Hi, congrats on the release! Any plans to release the base (non-instruct-tuned) model, or is there no base model?
Thanks!
As far as I know, base models are not expected to be released (at least in the upcoming weeks).
Thanks! Is there any reason why not to release them?
Another vote for releasing the base model. That would be incredibly valuable for language adaptation of the model! @gugarosa

So we're stuck with either the terrible instruct model, or training a different instruct model atop the current instruct model.... :(
