This model is pretty good
I was testing the model and for its size it is exceptionally good.... congratulation!
Do you plan to create a 48B4A MoE model? 12 x 4B model?
i am asking because there is no model between 40B and 60B parameters. and with 4B active it would be extremely fast on laptops in airplanes....
Thank you for your recognition! Weβre working on MiniCPM models in more sizes, and theyβre on the wayβstay tuned! π
Yeah this model is great, though its a little dumb by itself (I understand why tho, the model was made to search things and draw resources like an agent, not to be a knowledge base by itself).
As a quick little test I did some pop culture questions involving Devil May Cry just to get a grasp on its general knowledge, and the results were pretty funny:
"Dante's Playtime" is a first (never even heard of something like that). Searching online, I find that it's a fanfic:
(so its weird that the model thought of a fanfic before the actual game series)
"Wym isn't a known character from Devil May Cry".. LMAO.
Again, its pretty dumb and its clearly hallucinating a lot of details (by itself that is, so the model excels as an agent but should never be used without internet access or local data if you're trying to get factual information).
