WNM-3D: A World Navigation Model with 3D Scene Conditioning for Closed-Loop VLN

Recent vision-language navigation (VLN) systems increasingly adapt pretrained vision-language models (VLMs) into vision-language-action (VLA) policies that map egocentric observations and language instructions directly to navigation actions. Although semantically capable, such action-centric training does not explicitly model how the agent's visual observations should evolve under its predicted motion. Generative world-action models (WAMs) jointly predict future observations and actions, yet existing WAMs for continuous VLN do not condition joint future-view and action generation on geometry-aware representations inferred from the observed history. We present WNM-3D, a generative World Navigation Model with 3D scene conditioning for continuous VLN. To consolidate past observations into persistent scene context, a frozen feed-forward geometry encoder extracts geometry-aware representations from the monocular egocentric RGB history, and a trainable 3D Scene-to-Token Adapter converts them into a fixed-length prefix in the token space of the world-action Diffusion Transformer. Through block-causal attention, this prefix conditions every future video-action block, providing a shared geometric context for both future-view and action generation. We train WNM-3D through supervised world-action fine-tuning on A*-generated demonstrations, DAgger-style adaptation on policy-visited states, and DanceGRPO-based closed-loop policy optimization. Experiments on GN-Bench show that WNM-3D outperforms strong VLM-based navigation policies and its 2D-conditioned counterpart in closed-loop navigation. On a fixed near-goal evaluation set, WNM-3D also achieves higher flow-action consistency and lower visual-motion error.

One2Scene: Geometric Consistent Explorable 3D Scene Generation from a Single Image

Generating explorable 3D scenes from a single image is a highly challenging problem in 3D vision. Existing methods struggle to support free exploration, often producing severe geometric distortions and noisy artifacts when the viewpoint moves far from the original perspective. We introduce One2Scene, an effective framework that decomposes this ill-posed problem into three tractable sub-tasks to enable immersive explorable scene generation. We first use a panorama generator to produce anchor views from a single input image as initialization. Then, we lift these 2D anchors into an explicit 3D geometric scaffold via a generalizable, feed-forward Gaussian Splatting network. Instead of treating the panorama as a single image for reconstruction, we project it into multiple sparse anchor views and reformulate the reconstruction task as multi-view stereo matching, which allows us to leverage robust geometric priors learned from large-scale multi-view datasets. A bidirectional feature fusion module is used to enforce cross-view consistency, yielding an efficient and geometrically reliable scaffold. Finally, the scaffold serves as a strong prior for a novel view generator to produce photorealistic and geometrically accurate views at arbitrary cameras. By explicitly conditioning on a 3D-consistent scaffold to perform reconstruction, One2Scene works stably under large camera motions, supporting immersive scene exploration. Extensive experiments show that One2Scene substantially outperforms state-of-the-art methods in panorama depth estimation, feed-forward 360° reconstruction, and explorable 3D scene generation. BlockFusion: Expandable 3D Scene Generation using Latent Tri-plane Extrapolation

We present BlockFusion, a diffusion-based model that generates 3D scenes as unit blocks and seamlessly incorporates new blocks to extend the scene. BlockFusion is trained using datasets of 3D blocks that are randomly cropped from complete 3D scene meshes. Through per-block fitting, all training blocks are converted into the hybrid neural fields: with a tri-plane containing the geometry features, followed by a Multi-layer Perceptron (MLP) for decoding the signed distance values. A variational auto-encoder is employed to compress the tri-planes into the latent tri-plane space, on which the denoising diffusion process is performed. Diffusion applied to the latent representations allows for high-quality and diverse 3D scene generation. To expand a scene during generation, one needs only to append empty blocks to overlap with the current scene and extrapolate existing latent tri-planes to populate new blocks. The extrapolation is done by conditioning the generation process with the feature samples from the overlapping tri-planes during the denoising iterations. Latent tri-plane extrapolation produces semantically and geometrically meaningful transitions that harmoniously blend with the existing scene. A 2D layout conditioning mechanism is used to control the placement and arrangement of scene elements. Experimental results indicate that BlockFusion is capable of generating diverse, geometrically consistent and unbounded large 3D scenes with unprecedented high-quality shapes in both indoor and outdoor scenarios.

3D Scene Prompting for Scene-Consistent Camera-Controllable Video Generation

We present 3DScenePrompt, a framework that generates the next video chunk from arbitrary-length input while enabling precise camera control and preserving scene consistency. Unlike methods conditioned on a single image or a short clip, we employ dual spatio-temporal conditioning that reformulates context-view referencing across the input video. Our approach conditions on both temporally adjacent frames for motion continuity and spatially adjacent content for scene consistency. However, when generating beyond temporal boundaries, directly using spatially adjacent frames would incorrectly preserve dynamic elements from the past. We address this by introducing a 3D scene memory that represents exclusively the static geometry extracted from the entire input video. To construct this memory, we leverage dynamic SLAM with our newly introduced dynamic masking strategy that explicitly separates static scene geometry from moving elements. The static scene representation can then be projected to any target viewpoint, providing geometrically consistent warped views that serve as strong 3D spatial prompts while allowing dynamic regions to evolve naturally from temporal context. This enables our model to maintain long-range spatial coherence and precise camera control without sacrificing computational efficiency or motion realism. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our framework significantly outperforms existing methods in scene consistency, camera controllability, and generation quality. Any 3D Scene is Worth 1K Tokens: 3D-Grounded Representation for Scene Generation at Scale

3D scene generation has long been dominated by 2D multi-view or video diffusion models. This is due not only to the lack of scene-level 3D latent representation, but also to the fact that most scene-level 3D visual data exists in the form of multi-view images or videos, which are naturally compatible with 2D diffusion architectures. Typically, these 2D-based approaches degrade 3D spatial extrapolation to 2D temporal extension, which introduces two fundamental issues: (i) representing 3D scenes via 2D views leads to significant representation redundancy, and (ii) latent space rooted in 2D inherently limits the spatial consistency of the generated 3D scenes. In this paper, we propose, for the first time, to perform 3D scene generation directly within an implicit 3D latent space to address these limitations. First, we repurpose frozen 2D representation encoders to construct our 3D Representation Autoencoder (3DRAE), which grounds view-coupled 2D semantic representations into a view-decoupled 3D latent representation. This enables representing 3D scenes observed from arbitrary numbers of views--at any resolution and aspect ratio--with fixed complexity and rich semantics. Then we introduce 3D Diffusion Transformer (3DDiT), which performs diffusion modeling in this 3D latent space, achieving remarkably efficient and spatially consistent 3D scene generation while supporting diverse conditioning configurations. Moreover, since our approach directly generates a 3D scene representation, it can be decoded to images and optional point maps along arbitrary camera trajectories without requiring per-trajectory diffusion sampling pass, which is common in 2D-based approaches.

SceneFrom3D: Geometry-Conditioned Outdoor 3D Scene Generation via View Scheduling with Object-Level Control

Geometry-conditioned 3D scene generation enables the creation of 3D environments from user-provided geometry, offering direct control over scene structure and object layout. To generate such 3D scenes, current methods commonly adopt a three-stage design that first defines a view schedule, then synthesizes multi-view observations along the scheduled views, and finally reconstructs a 3D representation from the generated images. However, defining the view schedule becomes a major bottleneck for outdoor scenes, where large, unstructured, and unbounded geometry makes it difficult to obtain views that provide sufficient coverage while supporting stable generation. To address this bottleneck, we present SceneFrom3D, a framework that automatically schedules views from outdoor input geometries. SceneFrom3D constructs a directed generation graph whose nodes represent anchor views and whose edges represent interpolation trajectories, defining which views to synthesize, which view pairs to interpolate, and in which order generation should proceed. Beyond automatic view scheduling, SceneFrom3D further improves controllability through object-level conditioning, assigning each object an identity image for appearance guidance and a geometry-adherence parameter for region-wise control over the input geometry. Experiments demonstrate that SceneFrom3D achieves state-of-the-art geometry-conditioned outdoor 3D scene generation, producing high-quality scenes with controllable object appearance and geometry adherence.

CAST: Component-Aligned 3D Scene Reconstruction from an RGB Image

Recovering high-quality 3D scenes from a single RGB image is a challenging task in computer graphics. Current methods often struggle with domain-specific limitations or low-quality object generation. To address these, we propose CAST (Component-Aligned 3D Scene Reconstruction from a Single RGB Image), a novel method for 3D scene reconstruction and recovery. CAST starts by extracting object-level 2D segmentation and relative depth information from the input image, followed by using a GPT-based model to analyze inter-object spatial relationships. This enables the understanding of how objects relate to each other within the scene, ensuring more coherent reconstruction. CAST then employs an occlusion-aware large-scale 3D generation model to independently generate each object's full geometry, using MAE and point cloud conditioning to mitigate the effects of occlusions and partial object information, ensuring accurate alignment with the source image's geometry and texture. To align each object with the scene, the alignment generation model computes the necessary transformations, allowing the generated meshes to be accurately placed and integrated into the scene's point cloud. Finally, CAST incorporates a physics-aware correction step that leverages a fine-grained relation graph to generate a constraint graph. This graph guides the optimization of object poses, ensuring physical consistency and spatial coherence. By utilizing Signed Distance Fields (SDF), the model effectively addresses issues such as occlusions, object penetration, and floating objects, ensuring that the generated scene accurately reflects real-world physical interactions. CAST can be leveraged in robotics, enabling efficient real-to-simulation workflows and providing realistic, scalable simulation environments for robotic systems.

ED-NeRF: Efficient Text-Guided Editing of 3D Scene using Latent Space NeRF

Recently, there has been a significant advancement in text-to-image diffusion models, leading to groundbreaking performance in 2D image generation. These advancements have been extended to 3D models, enabling the generation of novel 3D objects from textual descriptions. This has evolved into NeRF editing methods, which allow the manipulation of existing 3D objects through textual conditioning. However, existing NeRF editing techniques have faced limitations in their performance due to slow training speeds and the use of loss functions that do not adequately consider editing. To address this, here we present a novel 3D NeRF editing approach dubbed ED-NeRF by successfully embedding real-world scenes into the latent space of the latent diffusion model (LDM) through a unique refinement layer. This approach enables us to obtain a NeRF backbone that is not only faster but also more amenable to editing compared to traditional image space NeRF editing. Furthermore, we propose an improved loss function tailored for editing by migrating the delta denoising score (DDS) distillation loss, originally used in 2D image editing to the three-dimensional domain. This novel loss function surpasses the well-known score distillation sampling (SDS) loss in terms of suitability for editing purposes. Our experimental results demonstrate that ED-NeRF achieves faster editing speed while producing improved output quality compared to state-of-the-art 3D editing models.

HERMES++: Toward a Unified Driving World Model for 3D Scene Understanding and Generation

Driving world models serve as a pivotal technology for autonomous driving by simulating environmental dynamics. However, existing approaches predominantly focus on future scene generation, often overlooking comprehensive 3D scene understanding. Conversely, while Large Language Models (LLMs) demonstrate impressive reasoning capabilities, they lack the capacity to predict future geometric evolution, creating a significant disparity between semantic interpretation and physical simulation. To bridge this gap, we propose HERMES++, a unified driving world model that integrates 3D scene understanding and future geometry prediction within a single framework. Our approach addresses the distinct requirements of these tasks through synergistic designs. First, a BEV representation consolidates multi-view spatial information into a structure compatible with LLMs. Second, we introduce LLM-enhanced world queries to facilitate knowledge transfer from the understanding branch. Third, a Current-to-Future Link is designed to bridge the temporal gap, conditioning geometric evolution on semantic context. Finally, to enforce structural integrity, we employ a Joint Geometric Optimization strategy that integrates explicit geometric constraints with implicit latent regularization to align internal representations with geometry-aware priors. Extensive evaluations on multiple benchmarks validate the effectiveness of our method. HERMES++ achieves strong performance, outperforming specialist approaches in both future point cloud prediction and 3D scene understanding tasks. The model and code will be publicly released at https://github.com/H-EmbodVis/HERMESV2.

Lighting-grounded Video Generation with Renderer-based Agent Reasoning

Diffusion models have achieved remarkable progress in video generation, but their controllability remains a major limitation. Key scene factors such as layout, lighting, and camera trajectory are often entangled or only weakly modeled, restricting their applicability in domains like filmmaking and virtual production where explicit scene control is essential. We present LiVER, a diffusion-based framework for scene-controllable video generation. To achieve this, we introduce a novel framework that conditions video synthesis on explicit 3D scene properties, supported by a new large-scale dataset with dense annotations of object layout, lighting, and camera parameters. Our method disentangles these properties by rendering control signals from a unified 3D representation. We propose a lightweight conditioning module and a progressive training strategy to integrate these signals into a foundational video diffusion model, ensuring stable convergence and high fidelity. Our framework enables a wide range of applications, including image-to-video and video-to-video synthesis where the underlying 3D scene is fully editable. To further enhance usability, we develop a scene agent that automatically translates high-level user instructions into the required 3D control signals. Experiments show that LiVER achieves state-of-the-art photorealism and temporal consistency while enabling precise, disentangled control over scene factors, setting a new standard for controllable video generation.

Long-Term Human Trajectory Prediction using 3D Dynamic Scene Graphs

We present a novel approach for long-term human trajectory prediction in indoor human-centric environments, which is essential for long-horizon robot planning in these environments. State-of-the-art human trajectory prediction methods are limited by their focus on collision avoidance and short-term planning, and their inability to model complex interactions of humans with the environment. In contrast, our approach overcomes these limitations by predicting sequences of human interactions with the environment and using this information to guide trajectory predictions over a horizon of up to 60s. We leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to predict interactions with the environment by conditioning the LLM prediction on rich contextual information about the scene. This information is given as a 3D Dynamic Scene Graph that encodes the geometry, semantics, and traversability of the environment into a hierarchical representation. We then ground these interaction sequences into multi-modal spatio-temporal distributions over human positions using a probabilistic approach based on continuous-time Markov Chains. To evaluate our approach, we introduce a new semi-synthetic dataset of long-term human trajectories in complex indoor environments, which also includes annotations of human-object interactions. We show in thorough experimental evaluations that our approach achieves a 54% lower average negative log-likelihood and a 26.5% lower Best-of-20 displacement error compared to the best non-privileged (i.e., evaluated in a zero-shot fashion on the dataset) baselines for a time horizon of 60s.

CineScene: Implicit 3D as Effective Scene Representation for Cinematic Video Generation

Cinematic video production requires control over scene-subject composition and camera movement, but live-action shooting remains costly due to the need for constructing physical sets. To address this, we introduce the task of cinematic video generation with decoupled scene context: given multiple images of a static environment, the goal is to synthesize high-quality videos featuring dynamic subject while preserving the underlying scene consistency and following a user-specified camera trajectory. We present CineScene, a framework that leverages implicit 3D-aware scene representation for cinematic video generation. Our key innovation is a novel context conditioning mechanism that injects 3D-aware features in an implicit way: By encoding scene images into visual representations through VGGT, CineScene injects spatial priors into a pretrained text-to-video generation model by additional context concatenation, enabling camera-controlled video synthesis with consistent scenes and dynamic subjects. To further enhance the model's robustness, we introduce a simple yet effective random-shuffling strategy for the input scene images during training. To address the lack of training data, we construct a scene-decoupled dataset with Unreal Engine 5, containing paired videos of scenes with and without dynamic subjects, panoramic images representing the underlying static scene, along with their camera trajectories. Experiments show that CineScene achieves state-of-the-art performance in scene-consistent cinematic video generation, handling large camera movements and demonstrating generalization across diverse environments.

EvoWorld: Evolving Panoramic World Generation with Explicit 3D Memory

Humans possess a remarkable ability to mentally explore and replay 3D environments they have previously experienced. Inspired by this mental process, we present EvoWorld: a world model that bridges panoramic video generation with evolving 3D memory to enable spatially consistent long-horizon exploration. Given a single panoramic image as input, EvoWorld first generates future video frames by leveraging a video generator with fine-grained view control, then evolves the scene's 3D reconstruction using a feedforward plug-and-play transformer, and finally synthesizes futures by conditioning on geometric reprojections from this evolving explicit 3D memory. Unlike prior state-of-the-arts that synthesize videos only, our key insight lies in exploiting this evolving 3D reconstruction as explicit spatial guidance for the video generation process, projecting the reconstructed geometry onto target viewpoints to provide rich spatial cues that significantly enhance both visual realism and geometric consistency. To evaluate long-range exploration capabilities, we introduce the first comprehensive benchmark spanning synthetic outdoor environments, Habitat indoor scenes, and challenging real-world scenarios, with particular emphasis on loop-closure detection and spatial coherence over extended trajectories. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our evolving 3D memory substantially improves visual fidelity and maintains spatial scene coherence compared to existing approaches, representing a significant advance toward long-horizon spatially consistent world modeling.

StyleMe3D: Stylization with Disentangled Priors by Multiple Encoders on 3D Gaussians

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) excels in photorealistic scene reconstruction but struggles with stylized scenarios (e.g., cartoons, games) due to fragmented textures, semantic misalignment, and limited adaptability to abstract aesthetics. We propose StyleMe3D, a holistic framework for 3D GS style transfer that integrates multi-modal style conditioning, multi-level semantic alignment, and perceptual quality enhancement. Our key insights include: (1) optimizing only RGB attributes preserves geometric integrity during stylization; (2) disentangling low-, medium-, and high-level semantics is critical for coherent style transfer; (3) scalability across isolated objects and complex scenes is essential for practical deployment. StyleMe3D introduces four novel components: Dynamic Style Score Distillation (DSSD), leveraging Stable Diffusion's latent space for semantic alignment; Contrastive Style Descriptor (CSD) for localized, content-aware texture transfer; Simultaneously Optimized Scale (SOS) to decouple style details and structural coherence; and 3D Gaussian Quality Assessment (3DG-QA), a differentiable aesthetic prior trained on human-rated data to suppress artifacts and enhance visual harmony. Evaluated on NeRF synthetic dataset (objects) and tandt db (scenes) datasets, StyleMe3D outperforms state-of-the-art methods in preserving geometric details (e.g., carvings on sculptures) and ensuring stylistic consistency across scenes (e.g., coherent lighting in landscapes), while maintaining real-time rendering. This work bridges photorealistic 3D GS and artistic stylization, unlocking applications in gaming, virtual worlds, and digital art.

LooseControl: Lifting ControlNet for Generalized Depth Conditioning

We present LooseControl to allow generalized depth conditioning for diffusion-based image generation. ControlNet, the SOTA for depth-conditioned image generation, produces remarkable results but relies on having access to detailed depth maps for guidance. Creating such exact depth maps, in many scenarios, is challenging. This paper introduces a generalized version of depth conditioning that enables many new content-creation workflows. Specifically, we allow (C1) scene boundary control for loosely specifying scenes with only boundary conditions, and (C2) 3D box control for specifying layout locations of the target objects rather than the exact shape and appearance of the objects. Using LooseControl, along with text guidance, users can create complex environments (e.g., rooms, street views, etc.) by specifying only scene boundaries and locations of primary objects. Further, we provide two editing mechanisms to refine the results: (E1) 3D box editing enables the user to refine images by changing, adding, or removing boxes while freezing the style of the image. This yields minimal changes apart from changes induced by the edited boxes. (E2) Attribute editing proposes possible editing directions to change one particular aspect of the scene, such as the overall object density or a particular object. Extensive tests and comparisons with baselines demonstrate the generality of our method. We believe that LooseControl can become an important design tool for easily creating complex environments and be extended to other forms of guidance channels. ActCam: Zero-Shot Joint Camera and 3D Motion Control for Video Generation

For artistic applications, video generation requires fine-grained control over both performance and cinematography, i.e., the actor's motion and the camera trajectory. We present ActCam, a zero-shot method for video generation that jointly transfers character motion from a driving video into a new scene and enables per-frame control of intrinsic and extrinsic camera parameters. ActCam builds on any pretrained image-to-video diffusion model that accepts conditioning in terms of scene depth and character pose. Given a source video with a moving character and a target camera motion, ActCam generates pose and depth conditions that remain geometrically consistent across frames. We then run a single sampling process with a two-phase conditioning schedule: early denoising steps condition on both pose and sparse depth to enforce scene structure, after which depth is dropped and pose-only guidance refines high-frequency details without over-constraining the generation. We evaluate ActCam on multiple benchmarks spanning diverse character motions and challenging viewpoint changes. We find that, compared to pose-only control and other pose and camera methods, ActCam improves camera adherence and motion fidelity, and is preferred in human evaluations, especially under large viewpoint changes. Our results highlight that careful camera-consistent conditioning and staged guidance can enable strong joint camera and motion control without training. Hand2World: Autoregressive Egocentric Interaction Generation via Free-Space Hand Gestures

Egocentric interactive world models are essential for augmented reality and embodied AI, where visual generation must respond to user input with low latency, geometric consistency, and long-term stability. We study egocentric interaction generation from a single scene image under free-space hand gestures, aiming to synthesize photorealistic videos in which hands enter the scene, interact with objects, and induce plausible world dynamics under head motion. This setting introduces fundamental challenges, including distribution shift between free-space gestures and contact-heavy training data, ambiguity between hand motion and camera motion in monocular views, and the need for arbitrary-length video generation. We present Hand2World, a unified autoregressive framework that addresses these challenges through occlusion-invariant hand conditioning based on projected 3D hand meshes, allowing visibility and occlusion to be inferred from scene context rather than encoded in the control signal. To stabilize egocentric viewpoint changes, we inject explicit camera geometry via per-pixel Plücker-ray embeddings, disentangling camera motion from hand motion and preventing background drift. We further develop a fully automated monocular annotation pipeline and distill a bidirectional diffusion model into a causal generator, enabling arbitrary-length synthesis. Experiments on three egocentric interaction benchmarks show substantial improvements in perceptual quality and 3D consistency while supporting camera control and long-horizon interactive generation.

3D-Fixer: Coarse-to-Fine In-place Completion for 3D Scenes from a Single Image

Compositional 3D scene generation from a single view requires the simultaneous recovery of scene layout and 3D assets. Existing approaches mainly fall into two categories: feed-forward generation methods and per-instance generation methods. The former directly predict 3D assets with explicit 6DoF poses through efficient network inference, but they generalize poorly to complex scenes. The latter improve generalization through a divide-and-conquer strategy, but suffer from time-consuming pose optimization. To bridge this gap, we introduce 3D-Fixer, a novel in-place completion paradigm. Specifically, 3D-Fixer extends 3D object generative priors to generate complete 3D assets conditioned on the partially visible point cloud at the original locations, which are cropped from the fragmented geometry obtained from the geometry estimation methods. Unlike prior works that require explicit pose alignment, 3D-Fixer uses fragmented geometry as a spatial anchor to preserve layout fidelity. At its core, we propose a coarse-to-fine generation scheme to resolve boundary ambiguity under occlusion, supported by a dual-branch conditioning network and an Occlusion-Robust Feature Alignment (ORFA) strategy for stable training. Furthermore, to address the data scarcity bottleneck, we present ARSG-110K, the largest scene-level dataset to date, comprising over 110K diverse scenes and 3M annotated images with high-fidelity 3D ground truth. Extensive experiments show that 3D-Fixer achieves state-of-the-art geometric accuracy, which significantly outperforms baselines such as MIDI and Gen3DSR, while maintaining the efficiency of the diffusion process. Code and data will be publicly available at https://zx-yin.github.io/3dfixer.

Towards Multi-View Consistent Style Transfer with One-Step Diffusion via Vision Conditioning

The stylization of 3D scenes is an increasingly attractive topic in 3D vision. Although image style transfer has been extensively researched with promising results, directly applying 2D style transfer methods to 3D scenes often fails to preserve the structural and multi-view properties of 3D environments, resulting in unpleasant distortions in images from different viewpoints. To address these issues, we leverage the remarkable generative prior of diffusion-based models and propose a novel style transfer method, OSDiffST, based on a pre-trained one-step diffusion model (i.e., SD-Turbo) for rendering diverse styles in multi-view images of 3D scenes. To efficiently adapt the pre-trained model for multi-view style transfer on small datasets, we introduce a vision condition module to extract style information from the reference style image to serve as conditional input for the diffusion model and employ LoRA in diffusion model for adaptation. Additionally, we consider color distribution alignment and structural similarity between the stylized and content images using two specific loss functions. As a result, our method effectively preserves the structural information and multi-view consistency in stylized images without any 3D information. Experiments show that our method surpasses other promising style transfer methods in synthesizing various styles for multi-view images of 3D scenes. Stylized images from different viewpoints generated by our method achieve superior visual quality, with better structural integrity and less distortion. The source code is available at https://github.com/YushenZuo/OSDiffST.

MaGRITTe: Manipulative and Generative 3D Realization from Image, Topview and Text

The generation of 3D scenes from user-specified conditions offers a promising avenue for alleviating the production burden in 3D applications. Previous studies required significant effort to realize the desired scene, owing to limited control conditions. We propose a method for controlling and generating 3D scenes under multimodal conditions using partial images, layout information represented in the top view, and text prompts. Combining these conditions to generate a 3D scene involves the following significant difficulties: (1) the creation of large datasets, (2) reflection on the interaction of multimodal conditions, and (3) domain dependence of the layout conditions. We decompose the process of 3D scene generation into 2D image generation from the given conditions and 3D scene generation from 2D images. 2D image generation is achieved by fine-tuning a pretrained text-to-image model with a small artificial dataset of partial images and layouts, and 3D scene generation is achieved by layout-conditioned depth estimation and neural radiance fields (NeRF), thereby avoiding the creation of large datasets. The use of a common representation of spatial information using 360-degree images allows for the consideration of multimodal condition interactions and reduces the domain dependence of the layout control. The experimental results qualitatively and quantitatively demonstrated that the proposed method can generate 3D scenes in diverse domains, from indoor to outdoor, according to multimodal conditions.

3DreamBooth: High-Fidelity 3D Subject-Driven Video Generation Model

Creating dynamic, view-consistent videos of customized subjects is highly sought after for a wide range of emerging applications, including immersive VR/AR, virtual production, and next-generation e-commerce. However, despite rapid progress in subject-driven video generation, existing methods predominantly treat subjects as 2D entities, focusing on transferring identity through single-view visual features or textual prompts. Because real-world subjects are inherently 3D, applying these 2D-centric approaches to 3D object customization reveals a fundamental limitation: they lack the comprehensive spatial priors necessary to reconstruct the 3D geometry. Consequently, when synthesizing novel views, they must rely on generating plausible but arbitrary details for unseen regions, rather than preserving the true 3D identity. Achieving genuine 3D-aware customization remains challenging due to the scarcity of multi-view video datasets. While one might attempt to fine-tune models on limited video sequences, this often leads to temporal overfitting. To resolve these issues, we introduce a novel framework for 3D-aware video customization, comprising 3DreamBooth and 3Dapter. 3DreamBooth decouples spatial geometry from temporal motion through a 1-frame optimization paradigm. By restricting updates to spatial representations, it effectively bakes a robust 3D prior into the model without the need for exhaustive video-based training. To enhance fine-grained textures and accelerate convergence, we incorporate 3Dapter, a visual conditioning module. Following single-view pre-training, 3Dapter undergoes multi-view joint optimization with the main generation branch via an asymmetrical conditioning strategy. This design allows the module to act as a dynamic selective router, querying view-specific geometric hints from a minimal reference set. Project page: https://ko-lani.github.io/3DreamBooth/

AC3D: Analyzing and Improving 3D Camera Control in Video Diffusion Transformers

Numerous works have recently integrated 3D camera control into foundational text-to-video models, but the resulting camera control is often imprecise, and video generation quality suffers. In this work, we analyze camera motion from a first principles perspective, uncovering insights that enable precise 3D camera manipulation without compromising synthesis quality. First, we determine that motion induced by camera movements in videos is low-frequency in nature. This motivates us to adjust train and test pose conditioning schedules, accelerating training convergence while improving visual and motion quality. Then, by probing the representations of an unconditional video diffusion transformer, we observe that they implicitly perform camera pose estimation under the hood, and only a sub-portion of their layers contain the camera information. This suggested us to limit the injection of camera conditioning to a subset of the architecture to prevent interference with other video features, leading to 4x reduction of training parameters, improved training speed and 10% higher visual quality. Finally, we complement the typical dataset for camera control learning with a curated dataset of 20K diverse dynamic videos with stationary cameras. This helps the model disambiguate the difference between camera and scene motion, and improves the dynamics of generated pose-conditioned videos. We compound these findings to design the Advanced 3D Camera Control (AC3D) architecture, the new state-of-the-art model for generative video modeling with camera control.

Pixal3D: Pixel-Aligned 3D Generation from Images

Recent advances in 3D generative models have rapidly improved image-to-3D synthesis quality, enabling higher-resolution geometry and more realistic appearance. Yet fidelity, which measures pixel-level faithfulness of the generated 3D asset to the input image, still remains a central bottleneck. We argue this stems from an implicit 2D-3D correspondence issue: most 3D-native generators synthesize shape in canonical space and inject image cues via attention, leaving pixel-to-3D associations ambiguous. To tackle this issue, we draw inspiration from 3D reconstruction and propose Pixal3D, a pixel-aligned 3D generation paradigm for high-fidelity 3D asset creation from images. Instead of generating in a canonical pose, Pixal3D directly generates 3D in a pixel-aligned way, consistent with the input view. To enable this, we introduce a pixel back-projection conditioning scheme that explicitly lifts multi-scale image features into a 3D feature volume, establishing direct pixel-to-3D correspondence without ambiguity. We show that Pixal3D is not only scalable and capable of producing high-quality 3D assets, but also substantially improves fidelity, approaching the fidelity level of reconstruction. Furthermore, Pixal3D naturally extends to multi-view generation by aggregating back-projected feature volumes across views. Finally, we show pixel-aligned generation benefits scene synthesis, and present a modular pipeline that produces high-fidelity, object-separated 3D scenes from images. Pixal3D for the first time demonstrates 3D-native pixel-aligned generation at scale, and provides a new inspiring way towards high-fidelity 3D generation of object or scene from single or multi-view images. CGS-GAN: 3D Consistent Gaussian Splatting GANs for High Resolution Human Head Synthesis

Recently, 3D GANs based on 3D Gaussian splatting have been proposed for high quality synthesis of human heads. However, existing methods stabilize training and enhance rendering quality from steep viewpoints by conditioning the random latent vector on the current camera position. This compromises 3D consistency, as we observe significant identity changes when re-synthesizing the 3D head with each camera shift. Conversely, fixing the camera to a single viewpoint yields high-quality renderings for that perspective but results in poor performance for novel views. Removing view-conditioning typically destabilizes GAN training, often causing the training to collapse. In response to these challenges, we introduce CGS-GAN, a novel 3D Gaussian Splatting GAN framework that enables stable training and high-quality 3D-consistent synthesis of human heads without relying on view-conditioning. To ensure training stability, we introduce a multi-view regularization technique that enhances generator convergence with minimal computational overhead. Additionally, we adapt the conditional loss used in existing 3D Gaussian splatting GANs and propose a generator architecture designed to not only stabilize training but also facilitate efficient rendering and straightforward scaling, enabling output resolutions up to 2048^2. To evaluate the capabilities of CGS-GAN, we curate a new dataset derived from FFHQ. This dataset enables very high resolutions, focuses on larger portions of the human head, reduces view-dependent artifacts for improved 3D consistency, and excludes images where subjects are obscured by hands or other objects. As a result, our approach achieves very high rendering quality, supported by competitive FID scores, while ensuring consistent 3D scene generation. Let Me DeCode You: Decoder Conditioning with Tabular Data

Training deep neural networks for 3D segmentation tasks can be challenging, often requiring efficient and effective strategies to improve model performance. In this study, we introduce a novel approach, DeCode, that utilizes label-derived features for model conditioning to support the decoder in the reconstruction process dynamically, aiming to enhance the efficiency of the training process. DeCode focuses on improving 3D segmentation performance through the incorporation of conditioning embedding with learned numerical representation of 3D-label shape features. Specifically, we develop an approach, where conditioning is applied during the training phase to guide the network toward robust segmentation. When labels are not available during inference, our model infers the necessary conditioning embedding directly from the input data, thanks to a feed-forward network learned during the training phase. This approach is tested using synthetic data and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images of teeth. For CBCT, three datasets are used: one publicly available and two in-house. Our results show that DeCode significantly outperforms traditional, unconditioned models in terms of generalization to unseen data, achieving higher accuracy at a reduced computational cost. This work represents the first of its kind to explore conditioning strategies in 3D data segmentation, offering a novel and more efficient method for leveraging annotated data. Our code, pre-trained models are publicly available at https://github.com/SanoScience/DeCode .

SeeThrough3D: Occlusion Aware 3D Control in Text-to-Image Generation

We identify occlusion reasoning as a fundamental yet overlooked aspect for 3D layout-conditioned generation. It is essential for synthesizing partially occluded objects with depth-consistent geometry and scale. While existing methods can generate realistic scenes that follow input layouts, they often fail to model precise inter-object occlusions. We propose SeeThrough3D, a model for 3D layout conditioned generation that explicitly models occlusions. We introduce an occlusion-aware 3D scene representation (OSCR), where objects are depicted as translucent 3D boxes placed within a virtual environment and rendered from desired camera viewpoint. The transparency encodes hidden object regions, enabling the model to reason about occlusions, while the rendered viewpoint provides explicit camera control during generation. We condition a pretrained flow based text-to-image image generation model by introducing a set of visual tokens derived from our rendered 3D representation. Furthermore, we apply masked self-attention to accurately bind each object bounding box to its corresponding textual description, enabling accurate generation of multiple objects without object attribute mixing. To train the model, we construct a synthetic dataset with diverse multi-object scenes with strong inter-object occlusions. SeeThrough3D generalizes effectively to unseen object categories and enables precise 3D layout control with realistic occlusions and consistent camera control.

Denoising Diffusion via Image-Based Rendering

Generating 3D scenes is a challenging open problem, which requires synthesizing plausible content that is fully consistent in 3D space. While recent methods such as neural radiance fields excel at view synthesis and 3D reconstruction, they cannot synthesize plausible details in unobserved regions since they lack a generative capability. Conversely, existing generative methods are typically not capable of reconstructing detailed, large-scale scenes in the wild, as they use limited-capacity 3D scene representations, require aligned camera poses, or rely on additional regularizers. In this work, we introduce the first diffusion model able to perform fast, detailed reconstruction and generation of real-world 3D scenes. To achieve this, we make three contributions. First, we introduce a new neural scene representation, IB-planes, that can efficiently and accurately represent large 3D scenes, dynamically allocating more capacity as needed to capture details visible in each image. Second, we propose a denoising-diffusion framework to learn a prior over this novel 3D scene representation, using only 2D images without the need for any additional supervision signal such as masks or depths. This supports 3D reconstruction and generation in a unified architecture. Third, we develop a principled approach to avoid trivial 3D solutions when integrating the image-based rendering with the diffusion model, by dropping out representations of some images. We evaluate the model on several challenging datasets of real and synthetic images, and demonstrate superior results on generation, novel view synthesis and 3D reconstruction.

Plenoptic Video Generation

Camera-controlled generative video re-rendering methods, such as ReCamMaster, have achieved remarkable progress. However, despite their success in single-view setting, these works often struggle to maintain consistency across multi-view scenarios. Ensuring spatio-temporal coherence in hallucinated regions remains challenging due to the inherent stochasticity of generative models. To address it, we introduce PlenopticDreamer, a framework that synchronizes generative hallucinations to maintain spatio-temporal memory. The core idea is to train a multi-in-single-out video-conditioned model in an autoregressive manner, aided by a camera-guided video retrieval strategy that adaptively selects salient videos from previous generations as conditional inputs. In addition, Our training incorporates progressive context-scaling to improve convergence, self-conditioning to enhance robustness against long-range visual degradation caused by error accumulation, and a long-video conditioning mechanism to support extended video generation. Extensive experiments on the Basic and Agibot benchmarks demonstrate that PlenopticDreamer achieves state-of-the-art video re-rendering, delivering superior view synchronization, high-fidelity visuals, accurate camera control, and diverse view transformations (e.g., third-person to third-person, and head-view to gripper-view in robotic manipulation). 3D Scene Generation: A Survey

3D scene generation seeks to synthesize spatially structured, semantically meaningful, and photorealistic environments for applications such as immersive media, robotics, autonomous driving, and embodied AI. Early methods based on procedural rules offered scalability but limited diversity. Recent advances in deep generative models (e.g., GANs, diffusion models) and 3D representations (e.g., NeRF, 3D Gaussians) have enabled the learning of real-world scene distributions, improving fidelity, diversity, and view consistency. Recent advances like diffusion models bridge 3D scene synthesis and photorealism by reframing generation as image or video synthesis problems. This survey provides a systematic overview of state-of-the-art approaches, organizing them into four paradigms: procedural generation, neural 3D-based generation, image-based generation, and video-based generation. We analyze their technical foundations, trade-offs, and representative results, and review commonly used datasets, evaluation protocols, and downstream applications. We conclude by discussing key challenges in generation capacity, 3D representation, data and annotations, and evaluation, and outline promising directions including higher fidelity, physics-aware and interactive generation, and unified perception-generation models. This review organizes recent advances in 3D scene generation and highlights promising directions at the intersection of generative AI, 3D vision, and embodied intelligence. Robust Dreamer: Deviation-Aware Latent Gaussian Memory for Action-Controlled AR Video Generation

Frame-wise action-controlled image-to-video generation is a promising paradigm for interactive world simulation, where each control signal should elicit an immediate visual response. However, maintaining visual fidelity and 3D consistency over long autoregressive rollouts remains challenging. Existing 3D-aware methods often suffer from catastrophic drift due to two impediments: information loss from Latent--RGB Cycling, where generated latents are repeatedly decoded to RGB and re-encoded for future conditioning, and the training--inference gap induced by the error-free hypothesis, where clean training memory fails to match prediction-corrupted inference memory. To address these challenges, we present Robust Dreamer, a memory-augmented framework built around how to design 3D memory and how to use it robustly. First, we introduce Latent Gaussian Memory, which anchors diffusion latents inherited from the generation process to Gaussian primitives and recalls them via latent-space Gaussian splatting. This provides dense, geometry-aware, view-aligned conditioning while avoiding accumulated degradation from repeated VAE conversion. Second, we propose Deviation Learning with Dynamic Deviation Archive, which synthesizes rollout-induced latent deviations through a one-step approximation, stores them by autoregressive stage and denoising timestamp, and injects them into historical memory during training. This exposes the generator to realistic corrupted memory states and teaches internal correction before inference. Experiments on ScanNet, DL3DV, and OmniWorldGame demonstrate state-of-the-art long-horizon performance.

FlashWorld: High-quality 3D Scene Generation within Seconds

We propose FlashWorld, a generative model that produces 3D scenes from a single image or text prompt in seconds, 10~100times faster than previous works while possessing superior rendering quality. Our approach shifts from the conventional multi-view-oriented (MV-oriented) paradigm, which generates multi-view images for subsequent 3D reconstruction, to a 3D-oriented approach where the model directly produces 3D Gaussian representations during multi-view generation. While ensuring 3D consistency, 3D-oriented method typically suffers poor visual quality. FlashWorld includes a dual-mode pre-training phase followed by a cross-mode post-training phase, effectively integrating the strengths of both paradigms. Specifically, leveraging the prior from a video diffusion model, we first pre-train a dual-mode multi-view diffusion model, which jointly supports MV-oriented and 3D-oriented generation modes. To bridge the quality gap in 3D-oriented generation, we further propose a cross-mode post-training distillation by matching distribution from consistent 3D-oriented mode to high-quality MV-oriented mode. This not only enhances visual quality while maintaining 3D consistency, but also reduces the required denoising steps for inference. Also, we propose a strategy to leverage massive single-view images and text prompts during this process to enhance the model's generalization to out-of-distribution inputs. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority and efficiency of our method.

Aligned Novel View Image and Geometry Synthesis via Cross-modal Attention Instillation

We introduce a diffusion-based framework that performs aligned novel view image and geometry generation via a warping-and-inpainting methodology. Unlike prior methods that require dense posed images or pose-embedded generative models limited to in-domain views, our method leverages off-the-shelf geometry predictors to predict partial geometries viewed from reference images, and formulates novel-view synthesis as an inpainting task for both image and geometry. To ensure accurate alignment between generated images and geometry, we propose cross-modal attention distillation, where attention maps from the image diffusion branch are injected into a parallel geometry diffusion branch during both training and inference. This multi-task approach achieves synergistic effects, facilitating geometrically robust image synthesis as well as well-defined geometry prediction. We further introduce proximity-based mesh conditioning to integrate depth and normal cues, interpolating between point cloud and filtering erroneously predicted geometry from influencing the generation process. Empirically, our method achieves high-fidelity extrapolative view synthesis on both image and geometry across a range of unseen scenes, delivers competitive reconstruction quality under interpolation settings, and produces geometrically aligned colored point clouds for comprehensive 3D completion. Long-Term Photometric Consistent Novel View Synthesis with Diffusion Models

Novel view synthesis from a single input image is a challenging task, where the goal is to generate a new view of a scene from a desired camera pose that may be separated by a large motion. The highly uncertain nature of this synthesis task due to unobserved elements within the scene (i.e. occlusion) and outside the field-of-view makes the use of generative models appealing to capture the variety of possible outputs. In this paper, we propose a novel generative model capable of producing a sequence of photorealistic images consistent with a specified camera trajectory, and a single starting image. Our approach is centred on an autoregressive conditional diffusion-based model capable of interpolating visible scene elements, and extrapolating unobserved regions in a view, in a geometrically consistent manner. Conditioning is limited to an image capturing a single camera view and the (relative) pose of the new camera view. To measure the consistency over a sequence of generated views, we introduce a new metric, the thresholded symmetric epipolar distance (TSED), to measure the number of consistent frame pairs in a sequence. While previous methods have been shown to produce high quality images and consistent semantics across pairs of views, we show empirically with our metric that they are often inconsistent with the desired camera poses. In contrast, we demonstrate that our method produces both photorealistic and view-consistent imagery.

4DWorldBench: A Comprehensive Evaluation Framework for 3D/4D World Generation Models

World Generation Models are emerging as a cornerstone of next-generation multimodal intelligence systems. Unlike traditional 2D visual generation, World Models aim to construct realistic, dynamic, and physically consistent 3D/4D worlds from images, videos, or text. These models not only need to produce high-fidelity visual content but also maintain coherence across space, time, physics, and instruction control, enabling applications in virtual reality, autonomous driving, embodied intelligence, and content creation. However, prior benchmarks emphasize different evaluation dimensions and lack a unified assessment of world-realism capability. To systematically evaluate World Models, we introduce the 4DWorldBench, which measures models across four key dimensions: Perceptual Quality, Condition-4D Alignment, Physical Realism, and 4D Consistency. The benchmark covers tasks such as Image-to-3D/4D, Video-to-4D, Text-to-3D/4D. Beyond these, we innovatively introduce adaptive conditioning across multiple modalities, which not only integrates but also extends traditional evaluation paradigms. To accommodate different modality-conditioned inputs, we map all modality conditions into a unified textual space during evaluation, and further integrate LLM-as-judge, MLLM-as-judge, and traditional network-based methods. This unified and adaptive design enables more comprehensive and consistent evaluation of alignment, physical realism, and cross-modal coherence. Preliminary human studies further demonstrate that our adaptive tool selection achieves closer agreement with subjective human judgments. We hope this benchmark will serve as a foundation for objective comparisons and improvements, accelerating the transition from "visual generation" to "world generation." Localized Gaussian Splatting Editing with Contextual Awareness

Recent text-guided generation of individual 3D object has achieved great success using diffusion priors. However, these methods are not suitable for object insertion and replacement tasks as they do not consider the background, leading to illumination mismatches within the environment. To bridge the gap, we introduce an illumination-aware 3D scene editing pipeline for 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) representation. Our key observation is that inpainting by the state-of-the-art conditional 2D diffusion model is consistent with background in lighting. To leverage the prior knowledge from the well-trained diffusion models for 3D object generation, our approach employs a coarse-to-fine objection optimization pipeline with inpainted views. In the first coarse step, we achieve image-to-3D lifting given an ideal inpainted view. The process employs 3D-aware diffusion prior from a view-conditioned diffusion model, which preserves illumination present in the conditioning image. To acquire an ideal inpainted image, we introduce an Anchor View Proposal (AVP) algorithm to find a single view that best represents the scene illumination in target region. In the second Texture Enhancement step, we introduce a novel Depth-guided Inpainting Score Distillation Sampling (DI-SDS), which enhances geometry and texture details with the inpainting diffusion prior, beyond the scope of the 3D-aware diffusion prior knowledge in the first coarse step. DI-SDS not only provides fine-grained texture enhancement, but also urges optimization to respect scene lighting. Our approach efficiently achieves local editing with global illumination consistency without explicitly modeling light transport. We demonstrate robustness of our method by evaluating editing in real scenes containing explicit highlight and shadows, and compare against the state-of-the-art text-to-3D editing methods.

Stereo World Model: Camera-Guided Stereo Video Generation

We present StereoWorld, a camera-conditioned stereo world model that jointly learns appearance and binocular geometry for end-to-end stereo video generation.Unlike monocular RGB or RGBD approaches, StereoWorld operates exclusively within the RGB modality, while simultaneously grounding geometry directly from disparity. To efficiently achieve consistent stereo generation, our approach introduces two key designs: (1) a unified camera-frame RoPE that augments latent tokens with camera-aware rotary positional encoding, enabling relative, view- and time-consistent conditioning while preserving pretrained video priors via a stable attention initialization; and (2) a stereo-aware attention decomposition that factors full 4D attention into 3D intra-view attention plus horizontal row attention, leveraging the epipolar prior to capture disparity-aligned correspondences with substantially lower compute. Across benchmarks, StereoWorld improves stereo consistency, disparity accuracy, and camera-motion fidelity over strong monocular-then-convert pipelines, achieving more than 3x faster generation with an additional 5% gain in viewpoint consistency. Beyond benchmarks, StereoWorld enables end-to-end binocular VR rendering without depth estimation or inpainting, enhances embodied policy learning through metric-scale depth grounding, and is compatible with long-video distillation for extended interactive stereo synthesis.

3D Scene Graph Guided Vision-Language Pre-training

3D vision-language (VL) reasoning has gained significant attention due to its potential to bridge the 3D physical world with natural language descriptions. Existing approaches typically follow task-specific, highly specialized paradigms. Therefore, these methods focus on a limited range of reasoning sub-tasks and rely heavily on the hand-crafted modules and auxiliary losses. This highlights the need for a simpler, unified and general-purpose model. In this paper, we leverage the inherent connection between 3D scene graphs and natural language, proposing a 3D scene graph-guided vision-language pre-training (VLP) framework. Our approach utilizes modality encoders, graph convolutional layers and cross-attention layers to learn universal representations that adapt to a variety of 3D VL reasoning tasks, thereby eliminating the need for task-specific designs. The pre-training objectives include: 1) Scene graph-guided contrastive learning, which leverages the strong correlation between 3D scene graphs and natural language to align 3D objects with textual features at various fine-grained levels; and 2) Masked modality learning, which uses cross-modality information to reconstruct masked words and 3D objects. Instead of directly reconstructing the 3D point clouds of masked objects, we use position clues to predict their semantic categories. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our pre-training model, when fine-tuned on several downstream tasks, achieves performance comparable to or better than existing methods in tasks such as 3D visual grounding, 3D dense captioning, and 3D question answering.

Infinite-Homography as Robust Conditioning for Camera-Controlled Video Generation

Recent progress in video diffusion models has spurred growing interest in camera-controlled novel-view video generation for dynamic scenes, aiming to provide creators with cinematic camera control capabilities in post-production. A key challenge in camera-controlled video generation is ensuring fidelity to the specified camera pose, while maintaining view consistency and reasoning about occluded geometry from limited observations. To address this, existing methods either train trajectory-conditioned video generation model on trajectory-video pair dataset, or estimate depth from the input video to reproject it along a target trajectory and generate the unprojected regions. Nevertheless, existing methods struggle to generate camera-pose-faithful, high-quality videos for two main reasons: (1) reprojection-based approaches are highly susceptible to errors caused by inaccurate depth estimation; and (2) the limited diversity of camera trajectories in existing datasets restricts learned models. To address these limitations, we present InfCam, a depth-free, camera-controlled video-to-video generation framework with high pose fidelity. The framework integrates two key components: (1) infinite homography warping, which encodes 3D camera rotations directly within the 2D latent space of a video diffusion model. Conditioning on this noise-free rotational information, the residual parallax term is predicted through end-to-end training to achieve high camera-pose fidelity; and (2) a data augmentation pipeline that transforms existing synthetic multiview datasets into sequences with diverse trajectories and focal lengths. Experimental results demonstrate that InfCam outperforms baseline methods in camera-pose accuracy and visual fidelity, generalizing well from synthetic to real-world data. LAYOUTDREAMER: Physics-guided Layout for Text-to-3D Compositional Scene Generation

Recently, the field of text-guided 3D scene generation has garnered significant attention. High-quality generation that aligns with physical realism and high controllability is crucial for practical 3D scene applications. However, existing methods face fundamental limitations: (i) difficulty capturing complex relationships between multiple objects described in the text, (ii) inability to generate physically plausible scene layouts, and (iii) lack of controllability and extensibility in compositional scenes. In this paper, we introduce LayoutDreamer, a framework that leverages 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) to facilitate high-quality, physically consistent compositional scene generation guided by text. Specifically, given a text prompt, we convert it into a directed scene graph and adaptively adjust the density and layout of the initial compositional 3D Gaussians. Subsequently, dynamic camera adjustments are made based on the training focal point to ensure entity-level generation quality. Finally, by extracting directed dependencies from the scene graph, we tailor physical and layout energy to ensure both realism and flexibility. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that LayoutDreamer outperforms other compositional scene generation quality and semantic alignment methods. Specifically, it achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance in the multiple objects generation metric of T3Bench.

3D-R1: Enhancing Reasoning in 3D VLMs for Unified Scene Understanding

Large vision-language models (VLMs) have made significant strides in 2D visual understanding tasks, sparking interest in extending these capabilities to 3D scene understanding. However, current 3D VLMs often struggle with robust reasoning and generalization due to limitations in high-quality spatial data and the static nature of viewpoint assumptions. To address these challenges, we propose 3D-R1, a foundation model that enhances the reasoning capabilities of 3D VLMs. Specifically, we first construct a high-quality synthetic dataset with CoT, named Scene-30K, leveraging existing 3D-VL datasets and a data engine based on Gemini 2.5 Pro. It serves as cold-start initialization data for 3D-R1. Moreover, we leverage RLHF policy such as GRPO in the reinforcement learning training process to enhance reasoning capabilities and introduce three reward functions: a perception reward, a semantic similarity reward and a format reward to maintain detection accuracy and answer semantic precision. Furthermore, we introduce a dynamic view selection strategy that adaptively chooses the most informative perspectives for 3D scene understanding. Extensive experiments demonstrate that 3D-R1 delivers an average improvement of 10% across various 3D scene benchmarks, highlighting its effectiveness in enhancing reasoning and generalization in 3D scene understanding. WorldGrow: Generating Infinite 3D World

We tackle the challenge of generating the infinitely extendable 3D world -- large, continuous environments with coherent geometry and realistic appearance. Existing methods face key challenges: 2D-lifting approaches suffer from geometric and appearance inconsistencies across views, 3D implicit representations are hard to scale up, and current 3D foundation models are mostly object-centric, limiting their applicability to scene-level generation. Our key insight is leveraging strong generation priors from pre-trained 3D models for structured scene block generation. To this end, we propose WorldGrow, a hierarchical framework for unbounded 3D scene synthesis. Our method features three core components: (1) a data curation pipeline that extracts high-quality scene blocks for training, making the 3D structured latent representations suitable for scene generation; (2) a 3D block inpainting mechanism that enables context-aware scene extension; and (3) a coarse-to-fine generation strategy that ensures both global layout plausibility and local geometric/textural fidelity. Evaluated on the large-scale 3D-FRONT dataset, WorldGrow achieves SOTA performance in geometry reconstruction, while uniquely supporting infinite scene generation with photorealistic and structurally consistent outputs. These results highlight its capability for constructing large-scale virtual environments and potential for building future world models.

ArtiScene: Language-Driven Artistic 3D Scene Generation Through Image Intermediary

Designing 3D scenes is traditionally a challenging task that demands both artistic expertise and proficiency with complex software. Recent advances in text-to-3D generation have greatly simplified this process by letting users create scenes based on simple text descriptions. However, as these methods generally require extra training or in-context learning, their performance is often hindered by the limited availability of high-quality 3D data. In contrast, modern text-to-image models learned from web-scale images can generate scenes with diverse, reliable spatial layouts and consistent, visually appealing styles. Our key insight is that instead of learning directly from 3D scenes, we can leverage generated 2D images as an intermediary to guide 3D synthesis. In light of this, we introduce ArtiScene, a training-free automated pipeline for scene design that integrates the flexibility of free-form text-to-image generation with the diversity and reliability of 2D intermediary layouts. First, we generate 2D images from a scene description, then extract the shape and appearance of objects to create 3D models. These models are assembled into the final scene using geometry, position, and pose information derived from the same intermediary image. Being generalizable to a wide range of scenes and styles, ArtiScene outperforms state-of-the-art benchmarks by a large margin in layout and aesthetic quality by quantitative metrics. It also averages a 74.89% winning rate in extensive user studies and 95.07% in GPT-4o evaluation. Project page: https://artiscene-cvpr.github.io/

Pano3DComposer: Feed-Forward Compositional 3D Scene Generation from Single Panoramic Image

Current compositional image-to-3D scene generation approaches construct 3D scenes by time-consuming iterative layout optimization or inflexible joint object-layout generation. Moreover, most methods rely on limited field-of-view perspective images, hindering the creation of complete 360-degree environments. To address these limitations, we design Pano3DComposer, an efficient feed-forward framework for panoramic images. To decouple object generation from layout estimation, we propose a plug-and-play Object-World Transformation Predictor. This module converts the 3D objects generated by off-the-shelf image-to-3D models from local to world coordinates. To achieve this, we adapt the VGGT architecture to Alignment-VGGT by using target object crop, multi-view object renderings and camera parameters to predict the transformation. The predictor is trained using pseudo-geometric supervision to address the shape discrepancy between generated and ground-truth objects. For input images from unseen domains, we further introduce a Coarse-to-Fine (C2F) alignment mechanism for Pano3DComposer that iteratively refines geometric consistency with feedback of scene rendering. Our method achieves superior geometric accuracy for image/text-to-3D tasks on synthetic and real-world datasets. It can generate a high-fidelity 3D scene in approximately 20 seconds on an RTX 4090 GPU. Project page: https://qiuzidian.github.io/pano3dcomposer-page/.

DreamCraft3D: Hierarchical 3D Generation with Bootstrapped Diffusion Prior

We present DreamCraft3D, a hierarchical 3D content generation method that produces high-fidelity and coherent 3D objects. We tackle the problem by leveraging a 2D reference image to guide the stages of geometry sculpting and texture boosting. A central focus of this work is to address the consistency issue that existing works encounter. To sculpt geometries that render coherently, we perform score distillation sampling via a view-dependent diffusion model. This 3D prior, alongside several training strategies, prioritizes the geometry consistency but compromises the texture fidelity. We further propose Bootstrapped Score Distillation to specifically boost the texture. We train a personalized diffusion model, Dreambooth, on the augmented renderings of the scene, imbuing it with 3D knowledge of the scene being optimized. The score distillation from this 3D-aware diffusion prior provides view-consistent guidance for the scene. Notably, through an alternating optimization of the diffusion prior and 3D scene representation, we achieve mutually reinforcing improvements: the optimized 3D scene aids in training the scene-specific diffusion model, which offers increasingly view-consistent guidance for 3D optimization. The optimization is thus bootstrapped and leads to substantial texture boosting. With tailored 3D priors throughout the hierarchical generation, DreamCraft3D generates coherent 3D objects with photorealistic renderings, advancing the state-of-the-art in 3D content generation. You See it, You Got it: Learning 3D Creation on Pose-Free Videos at Scale

Recent 3D generation models typically rely on limited-scale 3D `gold-labels' or 2D diffusion priors for 3D content creation. However, their performance is upper-bounded by constrained 3D priors due to the lack of scalable learning paradigms. In this work, we present See3D, a visual-conditional multi-view diffusion model trained on large-scale Internet videos for open-world 3D creation. The model aims to Get 3D knowledge by solely Seeing the visual contents from the vast and rapidly growing video data -- You See it, You Got it. To achieve this, we first scale up the training data using a proposed data curation pipeline that automatically filters out multi-view inconsistencies and insufficient observations from source videos. This results in a high-quality, richly diverse, large-scale dataset of multi-view images, termed WebVi3D, containing 320M frames from 16M video clips. Nevertheless, learning generic 3D priors from videos without explicit 3D geometry or camera pose annotations is nontrivial, and annotating poses for web-scale videos is prohibitively expensive. To eliminate the need for pose conditions, we introduce an innovative visual-condition - a purely 2D-inductive visual signal generated by adding time-dependent noise to the masked video data. Finally, we introduce a novel visual-conditional 3D generation framework by integrating See3D into a warping-based pipeline for high-fidelity 3D generation. Our numerical and visual comparisons on single and sparse reconstruction benchmarks show that See3D, trained on cost-effective and scalable video data, achieves notable zero-shot and open-world generation capabilities, markedly outperforming models trained on costly and constrained 3D datasets. RealMaster: Lifting Rendered Scenes into Photorealistic Video

State-of-the-art video generation models produce remarkable photorealism, but they lack the precise control required to align generated content with specific scene requirements. Furthermore, without an underlying explicit geometry, these models cannot guarantee 3D consistency. Conversely, 3D engines offer granular control over every scene element and provide native 3D consistency by design, yet their output often remains trapped in the "uncanny valley". Bridging this sim-to-real gap requires both structural precision, where the output must exactly preserve the geometry and dynamics of the input, and global semantic transformation, where materials, lighting, and textures must be holistically transformed to achieve photorealism. We present RealMaster, a method that leverages video diffusion models to lift rendered video into photorealistic video while maintaining full alignment with the output of the 3D engine. To train this model, we generate a paired dataset via an anchor-based propagation strategy, where the first and last frames are enhanced for realism and propagated across the intermediate frames using geometric conditioning cues. We then train an IC-LoRA on these paired videos to distill the high-quality outputs of the pipeline into a model that generalizes beyond the pipeline's constraints, handling objects and characters that appear mid-sequence and enabling inference without requiring anchor frames. Evaluated on complex GTA-V sequences, RealMaster significantly outperforms existing video editing baselines, improving photorealism while preserving the geometry, dynamics, and identity specified by the original 3D control.

Video Perception Models for 3D Scene Synthesis

Traditionally, 3D scene synthesis requires expert knowledge and significant manual effort. Automating this process could greatly benefit fields such as architectural design, robotics simulation, virtual reality, and gaming. Recent approaches to 3D scene synthesis often rely on the commonsense reasoning of large language models (LLMs) or strong visual priors of modern image generation models. However, current LLMs demonstrate limited 3D spatial reasoning ability, which restricts their ability to generate realistic and coherent 3D scenes. Meanwhile, image generation-based methods often suffer from constraints in viewpoint selection and multi-view inconsistencies. In this work, we present Video Perception models for 3D Scene synthesis (VIPScene), a novel framework that exploits the encoded commonsense knowledge of the 3D physical world in video generation models to ensure coherent scene layouts and consistent object placements across views. VIPScene accepts both text and image prompts and seamlessly integrates video generation, feedforward 3D reconstruction, and open-vocabulary perception models to semantically and geometrically analyze each object in a scene. This enables flexible scene synthesis with high realism and structural consistency. For more precise analysis, we further introduce First-Person View Score (FPVScore) for coherence and plausibility evaluation, utilizing continuous first-person perspective to capitalize on the reasoning ability of multimodal large language models. Extensive experiments show that VIPScene significantly outperforms existing methods and generalizes well across diverse scenarios. The code will be released.

Text2NeRF: Text-Driven 3D Scene Generation with Neural Radiance Fields

Text-driven 3D scene generation is widely applicable to video gaming, film industry, and metaverse applications that have a large demand for 3D scenes. However, existing text-to-3D generation methods are limited to producing 3D objects with simple geometries and dreamlike styles that lack realism. In this work, we present Text2NeRF, which is able to generate a wide range of 3D scenes with complicated geometric structures and high-fidelity textures purely from a text prompt. To this end, we adopt NeRF as the 3D representation and leverage a pre-trained text-to-image diffusion model to constrain the 3D reconstruction of the NeRF to reflect the scene description. Specifically, we employ the diffusion model to infer the text-related image as the content prior and use a monocular depth estimation method to offer the geometric prior. Both content and geometric priors are utilized to update the NeRF model. To guarantee textured and geometric consistency between different views, we introduce a progressive scene inpainting and updating strategy for novel view synthesis of the scene. Our method requires no additional training data but only a natural language description of the scene as the input. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our Text2NeRF outperforms existing methods in producing photo-realistic, multi-view consistent, and diverse 3D scenes from a variety of natural language prompts.

Agentic 3D Scene Generation with Spatially Contextualized VLMs

Despite recent advances in multimodal content generation enabled by vision-language models (VLMs), their ability to reason about and generate structured 3D scenes remains largely underexplored. This limitation constrains their utility in spatially grounded tasks such as embodied AI, immersive simulations, and interactive 3D applications. We introduce a new paradigm that enables VLMs to generate, understand, and edit complex 3D environments by injecting a continually evolving spatial context. Constructed from multimodal input, this context consists of three components: a scene portrait that provides a high-level semantic blueprint, a semantically labeled point cloud capturing object-level geometry, and a scene hypergraph that encodes rich spatial relationships, including unary, binary, and higher-order constraints. Together, these components provide the VLM with a structured, geometry-aware working memory that integrates its inherent multimodal reasoning capabilities with structured 3D understanding for effective spatial reasoning. Building on this foundation, we develop an agentic 3D scene generation pipeline in which the VLM iteratively reads from and updates the spatial context. The pipeline features high-quality asset generation with geometric restoration, environment setup with automatic verification, and ergonomic adjustment guided by the scene hypergraph. Experiments show that our framework can handle diverse and challenging inputs, achieving a level of generalization not observed in prior work. Further results demonstrate that injecting spatial context enables VLMs to perform downstream tasks such as interactive scene editing and path planning, suggesting strong potential for spatially intelligent systems in computer graphics, 3D vision, and embodied applications.

VIST3A: Text-to-3D by Stitching a Multi-view Reconstruction Network to a Video Generator

The rapid progress of large, pretrained models for both visual content generation and 3D reconstruction opens up new possibilities for text-to-3D generation. Intuitively, one could obtain a formidable 3D scene generator if one were able to combine the power of a modern latent text-to-video model as "generator" with the geometric abilities of a recent (feedforward) 3D reconstruction system as "decoder". We introduce VIST3A, a general framework that does just that, addressing two main challenges. First, the two components must be joined in a way that preserves the rich knowledge encoded in their weights. We revisit model stitching, i.e., we identify the layer in the 3D decoder that best matches the latent representation produced by the text-to-video generator and stitch the two parts together. That operation requires only a small dataset and no labels. Second, the text-to-video generator must be aligned with the stitched 3D decoder, to ensure that the generated latents are decodable into consistent, perceptually convincing 3D scene geometry. To that end, we adapt direct reward finetuning, a popular technique for human preference alignment. We evaluate the proposed VIST3A approach with different video generators and 3D reconstruction models. All tested pairings markedly improve over prior text-to-3D models that output Gaussian splats. Moreover, by choosing a suitable 3D base model, VIST3A also enables high-quality text-to-pointmap generation.

Triangle Splatting+: Differentiable Rendering with Opaque Triangles

Reconstructing 3D scenes and synthesizing novel views has seen rapid progress in recent years. Neural Radiance Fields demonstrated that continuous volumetric radiance fields can achieve high-quality image synthesis, but their long training and rendering times limit practicality. 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) addressed these issues by representing scenes with millions of Gaussians, enabling real-time rendering and fast optimization. However, Gaussian primitives are not natively compatible with the mesh-based pipelines used in VR headsets, and real-time graphics applications. Existing solutions attempt to convert Gaussians into meshes through post-processing or two-stage pipelines, which increases complexity and degrades visual quality. In this work, we introduce Triangle Splatting+, which directly optimizes triangles, the fundamental primitive of computer graphics, within a differentiable splatting framework. We formulate triangle parametrization to enable connectivity through shared vertices, and we design a training strategy that enforces opaque triangles. The final output is immediately usable in standard graphics engines without post-processing. Experiments on the Mip-NeRF360 and Tanks & Temples datasets show that Triangle Splatting+achieves state-of-the-art performance in mesh-based novel view synthesis. Our method surpasses prior splatting approaches in visual fidelity while remaining efficient and fast to training. Moreover, the resulting semi-connected meshes support downstream applications such as physics-based simulation or interactive walkthroughs. VGGT-Edit: Feed-forward Native 3D Scene Editing with Residual Field Prediction

High-quality 3D scene reconstruction has recently advanced toward generalizable feed-forward architectures, enabling the generation of complex environments in a single forward pass. However, despite their strong performance in static scene perception, these models remain limited in responding to dynamic human instructions, which restricts their use in interactive applications. Existing editing methods typically rely on a 2D-lifting strategy, where individual views are edited independently and then lifted back into 3D space. This indirect pipeline often leads to blurry textures and inconsistent geometry, as 2D editors lack the spatial awareness required to preserve structure across viewpoints. To address these limitations, we propose VGGT-Edit, a feed-forward framework for text-conditioned native 3D scene editing. VGGT-Edit introduces depth-synchronized text injection to align semantic guidance with the backbone's spatial poses, ensuring stable instruction grounding. This semantic signal is then processed by a residual transformation head, which directly predicts 3D geometric displacements to deform the scene while preserving background stability. To ensure high-fidelity results, we supervise the framework with a multi-term objective function that enforces geometric accuracy and cross-view consistency. We also construct the DeltaScene Dataset, a large-scale dataset generated through an automated pipeline with 3D agreement filtering to ensure ground-truth quality. Experiments show that VGGT-Edit substantially outperforms 2D-lifting baselines, producing sharper object details, stronger multi-view consistency, and near-instant inference speed.

Controllable Text-to-3D Generation via Surface-Aligned Gaussian Splatting

While text-to-3D and image-to-3D generation tasks have received considerable attention, one important but under-explored field between them is controllable text-to-3D generation, which we mainly focus on in this work. To address this task, 1) we introduce Multi-view ControlNet (MVControl), a novel neural network architecture designed to enhance existing pre-trained multi-view diffusion models by integrating additional input conditions, such as edge, depth, normal, and scribble maps. Our innovation lies in the introduction of a conditioning module that controls the base diffusion model using both local and global embeddings, which are computed from the input condition images and camera poses. Once trained, MVControl is able to offer 3D diffusion guidance for optimization-based 3D generation. And, 2) we propose an efficient multi-stage 3D generation pipeline that leverages the benefits of recent large reconstruction models and score distillation algorithm. Building upon our MVControl architecture, we employ a unique hybrid diffusion guidance method to direct the optimization process. In pursuit of efficiency, we adopt 3D Gaussians as our representation instead of the commonly used implicit representations. We also pioneer the use of SuGaR, a hybrid representation that binds Gaussians to mesh triangle faces. This approach alleviates the issue of poor geometry in 3D Gaussians and enables the direct sculpting of fine-grained geometry on the mesh. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves robust generalization and enables the controllable generation of high-quality 3D content.

Photo3D: Advancing Photorealistic 3D Generation through Structure-Aligned Detail Enhancement

Although recent 3D-native generators have made great progress in synthesizing reliable geometry, they still fall short in achieving realistic appearances. A key obstacle lies in the lack of diverse and high-quality real-world 3D assets with rich texture details, since capturing such data is intrinsically difficult due to the diverse scales of scenes, non-rigid motions of objects, and the limited precision of 3D scanners. We introduce Photo3D, a framework for advancing photorealistic 3D generation, which is driven by the image data generated by the GPT-4o-Image model. Considering that the generated images can distort 3D structures due to their lack of multi-view consistency, we design a structure-aligned multi-view synthesis pipeline and construct a detail-enhanced multi-view dataset paired with 3D geometry. Building on it, we present a realistic detail enhancement scheme that leverages perceptual feature adaptation and semantic structure matching to enforce appearance consistency with realistic details while preserving the structural consistency with the 3D-native geometry. Our scheme is general to different 3D-native generators, and we present dedicated training strategies to facilitate the optimization of geometry-texture coupled and decoupled 3D-native generation paradigms. Experiments demonstrate that Photo3D generalizes well across diverse 3D-native generation paradigms and achieves state-of-the-art photorealistic 3D generation performance.

F3D-Gaus: Feed-forward 3D-aware Generation on ImageNet with Cycle-Aggregative Gaussian Splatting

This paper tackles the problem of generalizable 3D-aware generation from monocular datasets, e.g., ImageNet. The key challenge of this task is learning a robust 3D-aware representation without multi-view or dynamic data, while ensuring consistent texture and geometry across different viewpoints. Although some baseline methods are capable of 3D-aware generation, the quality of the generated images still lags behind state-of-the-art 2D generation approaches, which excel in producing high-quality, detailed images. To address this severe limitation, we propose a novel feed-forward pipeline based on pixel-aligned Gaussian Splatting, coined as F3D-Gaus, which can produce more realistic and reliable 3D renderings from monocular inputs. In addition, we introduce a self-supervised cycle-aggregative constraint to enforce cross-view consistency in the learned 3D representation. This training strategy naturally allows aggregation of multiple aligned Gaussian primitives and significantly alleviates the interpolation limitations inherent in single-view pixel-aligned Gaussian Splatting. Furthermore, we incorporate video model priors to perform geometry-aware refinement, enhancing the generation of fine details in wide-viewpoint scenarios and improving the model's capability to capture intricate 3D textures. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach not only achieves high-quality, multi-view consistent 3D-aware generation from monocular datasets, but also significantly improves training and inference efficiency.

Pix2Shape: Towards Unsupervised Learning of 3D Scenes from Images using a View-based Representation

We infer and generate three-dimensional (3D) scene information from a single input image and without supervision. This problem is under-explored, with most prior work relying on supervision from, e.g., 3D ground-truth, multiple images of a scene, image silhouettes or key-points. We propose Pix2Shape, an approach to solve this problem with four components: (i) an encoder that infers the latent 3D representation from an image, (ii) a decoder that generates an explicit 2.5D surfel-based reconstruction of a scene from the latent code (iii) a differentiable renderer that synthesizes a 2D image from the surfel representation, and (iv) a critic network trained to discriminate between images generated by the decoder-renderer and those from a training distribution. Pix2Shape can generate complex 3D scenes that scale with the view-dependent on-screen resolution, unlike representations that capture world-space resolution, i.e., voxels or meshes. We show that Pix2Shape learns a consistent scene representation in its encoded latent space and that the decoder can then be applied to this latent representation in order to synthesize the scene from a novel viewpoint. We evaluate Pix2Shape with experiments on the ShapeNet dataset as well as on a novel benchmark we developed, called 3D-IQTT, to evaluate models based on their ability to enable 3d spatial reasoning. Qualitative and quantitative evaluation demonstrate Pix2Shape's ability to solve scene reconstruction, generation, and understanding tasks.
