- Two Web Toolkits for Multimodal Piano Performance Dataset Acquisition and Fingering Annotation Piano performance is a multimodal activity that intrinsically combines physical actions with the acoustic rendition. Despite growing research interest in analyzing the multimodal nature of piano performance, the laborious process of acquiring large-scale multimodal data remains a significant bottleneck, hindering further progress in this field. To overcome this barrier, we present an integrated web toolkit comprising two graphical user interfaces (GUIs): (i) PiaRec, which supports the synchronized acquisition of audio, video, MIDI, and performance metadata. (ii) ASDF, which enables the efficient annotation of performer fingering from the visual data. Collectively, this system can streamline the acquisition of multimodal piano performance datasets. 7 authors · Sep 17, 2025
- Classification of descriptions and summary using multiple passes of statistical and natural language toolkits This document describes a possible approach that can be used to check the relevance of a summary / definition of an entity with respect to its name. This classifier focuses on the relevancy of an entity's name to its summary / definition, in other words, it is a name relevance check. The percentage score obtained from this approach can be used either on its own or used to supplement scores obtained from other metrics to arrive upon a final classification; at the end of the document, potential improvements have also been outlined. The dataset that this document focuses on achieving an objective score is a list of package names and their respective summaries (sourced from pypi.org). 2 authors · Sep 9, 2020
