Circuit
Inputs: A[1:0], B[1:0] (4 inputs, two's complement)
Outputs: P[3:0] (4 outputs, two's complement)
A range: -2 to +1
B range: -2 to +1
P range: -2 to +4
Baugh-Wooley Method
Handles sign extension by:
- Inverting partial products involving MSBs
- Adding correction constants
Avoids separate sign handling logic.
