What are these?
Hello,
Forgive me if I'm an idiot, but I haven't been able to find any info on what these are or how they're meant to be used.
e.g. what is chroma_unlocked for? And staging_RL? Also all the different versions/types.
I found info on what 'flash' is for, but there are 6 different versions split by being r16/r24/r32 and simple/not-simple, so I'm uncertain what I should be using.
Any resources out there that explain? Sorry again if I just missed it somewhere!
Those flash lora's are weights extracted from the models the folders are named after. Their main purpose is to speed up convergence/generation by reducing the number of steps needed to get a good image.
There really are only 2 main branches here flash-heun and Chroma1-Flash. It is said that flash-heun is better with anime generation than the other.
The flash-heun-pruned branch is specifically for the fp8 scaled hybrid-large quantization. (https://civitai.com/models/1956762/chroma1-hd-gguf-and-fp8?modelVersionId=2314264)
As for which r(rank) you'd need. Check this link for reference (https://civitai.com/models/2032955?modelVersionId=2300965), once you select a rank, there would be a section there that says 'About this version', note that even rank 1 can already be handy. Personally, I use rank 64 along with CFG 1.0 to in ComfyUI to disable negative prompting and get a further speed up.
