Nice work on the multi-user authentication. Overall looks solid to me with use of a global variable and the name generator.
Thoughts on having a button, something like "enter queue"? Or maybe better, when someone first loads the page, a message is displayed about the state of the queue?
Again, no worries if you want to leave it. Minor point.
added a Join queue button and display queue length in latest push
