시즌2 결핵 마감을 11월 7일로 1주 연장합니다.
🔴 이 공지는 수정됐습니다. 같은 날 앞서 올린 내용은 「10월 31일 유지, 연장하지 않습니다」였습니다. 그 글을 올린 뒤 남은 기간의 처리 능력을 실측했고, 결과에 따라 결정을 바꿨습니다. 바꾼 이유를 아래에 적습니다. 지금 유효한 마감은 11월 7일입니다.
결정을 바꾼 이유
남은 4일 안에 들어올 수 있는 최대 제출량이 그 기간의 채점 능력을 넘었습니다.

채점 능력을 두 배로 올려 1,120건까지 올렸지만, 그동안 조용했던 계정까지 마감 전에 깨어나면 여유가 수십 건으로 줄어듭니다. 마감 직전에 다시 밀리는 쪽이 연장보다 나쁩니다. 그리고 순위표가 멈춰 있던 나흘 동안에도 하루 제출 몫은 소모됐고, 그 손실은 연장 외에 돌려드릴 방법이 없습니다.
무슨 일이 있었나
10월 23일부터 26일까지 순위표 갱신이 멈춰 채점 389건이 공개면에 보이지 않았습니다. 그 기간에도 채점은 계속 돌았고 결과는 모두 기록돼 있었습니다. 10월 27일에 전부 복구했고, 지금 전 시즌 미채점은 0입니다.

마지막 날에 몰아서 내지 마시고 미리 제출해 주십시오. 계정당 하루 30건입니다. 지금 대기열은 0이고 제출한 뒤 대개 한 시간 안에 점수가 올라옵니다.
기존 점수는 바뀌지 않았습니다. 재제출은 필요 없습니다.
고장을 먼저 찾아 정확한 관측값으로 알려 주신 참가자들께 감사드립니다. 두 번 모두 저희 감시가 아니라 참가자 보고가 먼저였습니다.

🔴 This notice has been revised. An earlier notice on the same day said the deadline would stand at 31 October and would not be extended. After posting it we measured the scoring capacity available for the remaining days, and the measurement changed the decision. The reason is below. The deadline now in force is 7 November.
Why the decision changed
The maximum submission volume that could arrive in the remaining four days exceeded the scoring capacity for that period: 6 recently active accounts at a cap of 30 per day is up to 720 submissions, against a capacity of about 560. We doubled scoring capacity to roughly 1,120, but if accounts that have been quiet also return before the deadline the margin shrinks to a few dozen entries. A second backlog at the deadline would be worse than an extension. Separately, the four days when the board was frozen still consumed daily submission quota, and an extension is the only way to return that.
What happened
From 23 to 26 October the rollup stopped updating and 389 scored entries were not visible on the public board. Scoring kept running throughout and every result was recorded. Everything was restored on 27 October, and unscored submissions are now at zero across all seasons.
What changed
The deadline moves from 31 October to 7 November. Season 2 scoring capacity is doubled. Monitoring now checks whether the rollup is keeping up with the results, which the previous monitoring could not see. The rollup is stored differently so it cannot stall the same way again.
What we suggest
Submit early rather than on the final day. The cap is 30 submissions per account per day. The queue is currently zero and a score usually appears within an hour. Existing scores are unchanged and no resubmission is needed.
Thank you to the participants who found the failure first and reported it with precise observations. On both occasions a participant reported it before our own monitoring did.
