Bain & Company issues AI Guide for CEOs, opens Singapore hub
In an effort to bridge the gap between AI adoption and its potential to transform business operations in the Southeast Asia region, Bain & Company, a global consultancy firm, has issued a guide tailored specifically for CEOs on implementing AI-driven innovations within their companies.
The research report, titled 'The Southeast Asia CEO's Guide to AI Transformation', outlines how many of the organisations in the region are still stuck in the early stages of product testing, because they treat AI as a tool rather than a significant change that would revolutionize the way they do business.
"AI should not just be viewed as an add-on or a tool set, but as an opportunity to rethink, rewire and reimagine one's business", said Sven Sretenovic, a partner at Bain & Company.
He added that companies should first look inwards and analyse how AI would affect their organisational design, talent strategy, and information strategy before embracing new tech.
To further expand its presence in the Southeast Asia market, Bain & Company has also opened a Singapore-based hub, citing the country's strong technology ecosystem and its role as a launchpad for businesses in the region.
