Croissant editor gives errors on data I deleted

I'm trying to use the Croissant editor for the first time. I uploaded some data but then decided it was too complex, so deleted it and loaded up a much simpler csv file. However when I go to the overview page, I get a list of errors referencing the data files I already deleted. I realise I can just start again but it's a bit fiddly if every time I make a mistake I have to start over. What else can I do to stop this happening? or is it a bug?
