Using in Your App
Once Ollama is running, the FastAPI app will automatically:
- Detect Ollama availability
- Send detected ingredients to Ollama
- Generate creative recipes using the LLM
- Return recipes to the client
No additional configuration needed!
Troubleshooting
"Connection refused"
- Make sure Ollama is running:
ollama serve
"Model not found"
- Pull the model:
ollama pull mistral
"Out of memory"
- Use smaller models or close other applications
- Or increase Docker memory if using Docker version
"Slow response"
- First response is slower (model loading)
- Subsequent responses are faster
- Consider using a smaller model
