# 🌐 Assamese → English Translator

This is a **fine-tuned neural translation model** that converts Assamese text into English.  
It is based on `Helsinki-NLP/opus-mt-mul-en` and fine-tuned using a **Custom Assamese-English parallel corpus (~20k sentences)**.

### ⚙️ How it works

2. The model generates the English translation.
