Box API Integration

Connect to Box so the app can store intake files, case artifacts, and reports in the shared repository

Box Auth Mode Required

Use a long-lived Box auth mode for the MVP. Access tokens are only for short testing sessions.

Box Access Token

Generate from developer.box.com → Your App → Configuration → Developer Token. Expires every 60 minutes.

Incoming Intake Folder ID Required

Right-click the "Incoming Detections" folder in Box → Get Shareable Link → copy the numeric ID from the URL.

Box Metadata Scope

Optional. Set this if you created a Box metadata template and want the app to write named metadata for indexing, reporting, and artifact lookup.

Box Metadata Template Key

Optional. Use the template key from your Box metadata template. The app still writes standard case fields even if you leave this blank.

No Box credentials saved on the backend yet.

OAuth refresh mode needs client_id, client_secret, and refresh_token. Client credentials mode needs client_id, client_secret, subject_type, and subject_id.
