Documentation Alignment Remaining Work (2026-06-09)
Purpose
This tracker replaces the missing June 9 remaining-work artifact requested for validation:
docs/internal/documentation-alignment-remaining-work-2026-06-09.md
No recoverable original was found on current origin/main, fetched Git object
names, path history, or GitHub code/content search. This file is intentionally
small: it records what remains open after the absent-artifact recovery pass and
points reviewers to canonical evidence rather than recreating an unavailable
planning checklist from memory.
Current State
- The current merged documentation-code alignment audit is
docs/audits/documentation-code-alignment-final-audit-2026-06-08.md. - The current documentation-alignment governance artifacts are:
docs/internal/documentation-alignment-audit-protocol.mddocs/internal/documentation-alignment-claim-ledger.template.mddocs/internal/documentation-alignment-final-report.template.mddocs/internal/documentation-alignment-role-signoff.template.md
- The executable guard for the governance protocol is
tests/documentation-alignment-guardrails.test.mjs.
Remaining Work
- Treat source code, generated contracts, and focused parity tests as canonical where the missing June 9 planning checklist is unavailable.
- Before publishing any new "fully aligned" claim, complete the role evidence
required by
docs/internal/documentation-alignment-audit-protocol.md. - Keep future docs changes claim-scoped. If a doc edits CII, MCP, news, CRI, forecast, scenario, chokepoint, or market methodology claims, run the corresponding focused parity test or remove the over-specific claim.
- Do not infer production or live-credential validation from this artifact. Record credential gates explicitly when they apply.
- Preserve this file and the June 9 audit closeout path so future validation requests fail on claim drift, not on missing requested artifacts.
Validation Boundary
This tracker is a docs-only closeout. It does not supersede the June 8 final audit, the documentation-alignment protocol, generated API contracts, or runtime parity tests. It only resolves the June 9 absent-file blocker by making the requested remaining-work path present and honest about the evidence gap.
