| # Guide | |
| ## What To Try First | |
| - Town: `Little Static` | |
| - Parade weather: `paper rain that apologizes` | |
| - Grand marshal: `a nervous umbrella` | |
| - Street trouble: `the parade route forgot its own corners` | |
| - Cabinet color: `mint night` | |
| - Parade energy: `4` | |
| Then press **Open cabinet**. | |
| ## What Makes A Good Run | |
| - The three float cards should be visibly different from each other. | |
| - The crowd chant should be short enough to say out loud. | |
| - The finale should change the route, not only summarize the parade. | |
| - The parade sound should feel like a tiny march, not a generic alert. | |
| - The caption should be good enough to paste into a social post with the demo clip. | |
| ## Cloud API Behavior | |
| The **Let the cabinet write live** checkbox uses the selected **Parade voice**: | |
| - Hugging Face and OpenBMB routes use `HF_API_KEY` or `HF_TOKEN`. | |
| - NVIDIA route uses `NVIDIA_API_KEY`. | |
| - Practice writer uses deterministic local generation. | |
| If a key is missing, the provider is unavailable, or the response is empty, the app falls back to a deterministic local parade. The hidden trace records whether the run used `cloud` or `fallback`. | |
