Hello, Stranger ✉️

Write a small, kind message and a wandering messenger carries it to a faraway place, bringing back how a warm local might say it: the phrase in its own script, a simple pronunciation, and a one-line note.

Runs on Cohere Aya Expanse 8B (8B, 23 languages, under the 32B ceiling), whose multilingual gift is the whole point.

Important: gated model

Aya Expanse is gated and CC-BY-NC (fine for a non-commercial hackathon). To run in model mode:

1. Accept the licence at https://huggingface.co/CohereLabs/aya-expanse-8b
2. Add your read token as a Space secret named HF_TOKEN. Without access it runs in keeper mode (a small built-in phrasebook) so it still demos.
