@lru_cachedecorator: Once cached, the connection was never refreshed even when it became stale- Neon free tier timeouts: Aggressive connection timeouts (typically 5-10 minutes of inactivity)
- Insufficient keepalive settings: Original settings were too conservative for Neon's free tier
- No connection health monitoring: No way to detect when connections became dead
Solution Overview
The solution implements a robust database connection management system with the following features:
1. Removed @lru_cache
- Replaced with thread-safe connection management
- Connections are now actively managed and refreshed
2. Optimized Keepalive Settings
