# AI Execution Cookoff — Participation Guide
**Date & Time:** February 27, 2026 – March 20, 2026
**Location:** Virtual
**Host:** The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen
---
## Overview
The AI Execution Cookoff is a hands-on systems challenge for builders who want to design and ship **AI agents that execute real business workflows**.
Inspired by modern agent systems and real-world execution infrastructure, this cookoff celebrates builders who can turn AI into **reliable operational systems**.
Participants will design and demonstrate AI agents that solve measurable execution problems such as sales follow-through, recruiting coordination, or other real workflows.
There are no monetary prizes.
**Outstanding participants may be invited to collaborate on real AI systems projects and join future execution-focused teams.**
---
## Competition Tracks
Participants may choose one track:
### 🍽 Track A — Sales Execution Agent
Design an agent that manages sales workflows:
- lead follow-through
- communication coordination
- scheduling
- pipeline tracking
- escalation handling
Goal: maximize execution reliability and workflow completion.
---
### 🍽 Track B — Recruiting Coordination Agent
Design an agent that coordinates hiring workflows:
- interview scheduling
- candidate communication
- reminders and follow-ups
- status tracking
- failure recovery
Goal: reduce operational friction and improve execution efficiency.
---
### 🍽 Track C — Open Execution Agent
Build an agent that solves any measurable execution workflow:
- customer support coordination
- onboarding automation
- operations tracking
- internal workflow management
Participants must clearly define the problem and success metrics.
---
## Schedule
### Competition Timeline
**February 27 — Cookoff opens**
**March 20 — Submission deadline**
### Review Phase
**March 21 – April 3 — Review & evaluation**
**Early April — Winners announced**
Exact updates will be posted in Discussions.
---
## Submission Requirements
Each participant must submit:
### 🍳 System Report (Required)
A concise report (1–3 pages) describing:
- problem definition
- architecture design
- execution workflow
- reliability strategy
- evaluation metrics
---
### 🎥 Demo Video (Required, 3–5 minutes)
The video must demonstrate:
- a live agent run
- system walkthrough
- at least one failure case and recovery behavior
---
## Evaluation Criteria
Submissions are evaluated on:
- reliability and failure handling
- execution logic and ownership modeling
- real-world usability
- outcome focus and measurable impact
- clarity of system design
This cookoff rewards systems that **operate reliably**, not just impressive demos.
---
## Participation Rules
- Individual participation only
- Participants may use AI tools during development
- Submissions must be original work
- External libraries and frameworks are allowed
- GPU resources are optional and not required
Joining this Hugging Face organization constitutes participation.
---
## How to Submit
Create a Discussion post titled:
**“Cookoff Submission — [Your Name]”**
Include:
- demo video link
- PDF report link
- short summary of your system
Submissions are reviewed manually by the evaluation team.
---
## Community & Support
Use the Discussions tab for announcements, questions, and technical discussion.
---
## Final Note
The AI Execution Cookoff is not a showcase for flashy prototypes.
It is a search for builders who can design AI systems that execute real workflows.
We are excited to see what you cook.
