Tips

• Scan at 300 DPI or higher for best results.
• Use PNG format (lossless) to avoid JPEG compression artefacts.
• Ensure signatures are on a white background.
• For writer identification, provide at least 5–10 samples per writer.

Synthetic Fallback

If no real images are present, every notebook generates synthetic samples automatically so the code runs end-to-end without any data.
