Getting Started

Prerequisites

Before running LinguisticsChat, ensure that you have the following prerequisites installed:

• Python 3.8 or later
• Pipenv or another Python package manager

Installation

1. Clone the repository or download the project files.

2. Navigate to the project directory.

3. Install the required dependencies using Pipenv or pip:

   pipenv install
   

   or

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

4. Generate a .env file in the root directory, placing your OPENAI_API_KEY and PASSCODE_KEY within it.

Running LinguisticsChat

To start the application, navigate to the project directory and run:

python main.py

The interface will be launched in your default web browser, or you can access it at the URL provided in the terminal.
