Video Analysis Quick Start Guide

5-Minute Setup

1. Upload a Video 🎬

Steps:

  1. Go to πŸ“Ή Video Analysis page
  2. Select detection models:
    • βœ… Weapon (guns/knives)
    • βœ… Violence (fighting/aggression)
    • βœ… Anomaly (unusual behavior)
    • βœ… Pose (unsafe positions)
  3. Click Drag & drop or Click to select video file
  4. Choose your video (MP4, AVI, MOV, or MKV)
  5. Click πŸš€ Analyze Video

Wait for:

  • Upload progress (shows %)
  • Processing message
  • Results to load

2. View Processed Video ▢️

What you'll see:

  • Video with colored bounding boxes around detected objects
  • Labels showing what was detected
  • Confidence percentages for each detection
  • Alert indicators for dangerous items/behaviors

Controls:

  • ⏯️ Play/Pause
  • πŸ”Š Volume
  • β›Ά Fullscreen
  • β†ͺ️ Loop
  • πŸ’Ύ Download processed video

Tip: Processed video shows AI analysis in real-time!

3. Review Emergency Frames 🚨

Emergency frames are automatically captured when dangerous activity is detected.

How to find them:

  1. Scroll to "🚨 Emergency Frames (Sensitive/High-Alert)" section
  2. See thumbnail gallery of critical frames
  3. Click any thumbnail to see full-size image
  4. Red "EMERGENCY" badge shows severity

Types captured:

  • πŸ”« Weapons detected
  • πŸ‘Š Violence detected
  • ❓ Anomalies detected
  • ⚠️ Critical alerts

4. Check Statistics πŸ“Š

Summary cards show:

  • πŸ“Š Total Frames - How many frames in the video
  • βœ“ Analyzed Frames - How many were actually processed
  • 🎯 Detections - Total objects/people/weapons found
  • 🚨 Alerts - Critical events detected
  • 🚨 Emergency Frames - High-alert frames captured

5. Re-Analyze with Different Models πŸ”„

Want to try different detection models on the same video?

Steps:

  1. Scroll to top of results section
  2. Click πŸ”„ New Prediction button
  3. (Optional) Change model selection in Model Selection panel
  4. System re-analyzes the same video
  5. View new results with updated detections

Benefits:

  • Test different combinations
  • Compare model accuracy
  • Build prediction history
  • NO re-uploading needed

6. View Previous Predictions πŸ“œ

See all analyses performed on this video.

To access:

  1. Scroll to bottom: "πŸ“œ Previous Predictions" section
  2. Shows list of all previous analyses
  3. Each shows:
    • Original filename
    • When analyzed
    • Detection count
    • Alert count
    • Emergency frames count
  4. Click View Details to reload that analysis

Analysis Record πŸ“‹

  • All detections logged
  • All alerts recorded
  • Frame-by-frame analysis
  • Complete audit trail

Tips & Tricks

πŸ’‘ Best Results

  1. Good quality video - Higher resolution = better detection
  2. Good lighting - Adequate light helps detection
  3. Clear angles - Position camera to capture threats
  4. Multiple models - Enable all relevant models for full coverage

⚑ Speed Up Analysis

  1. Shorter videos process faster
  2. Lower resolution = faster processing
  3. Skip irrelevant models to reduce processing time
  4. Use frame-skip setting if available

πŸ’Ύ Storage Tips

  1. Download important emergency frames
  2. Export processed videos for documentation
  3. Archive old analyses to free up space
  4. Back up critical analysis records

πŸ” Detailed Review

  1. Expand frame-wise timeline to see each frame's detections
  2. Click alert details to understand what triggered it
  3. View emergency frames for visual confirmation
  4. Export analysis for reporting

Troubleshooting

"File size exceeds limit"

β†’ Video is > 500MB. Compress or split video.

"No detections found"

β†’ Try enabling more models or check if activity is present.

"Processing taking too long"

β†’ Large videos take longer. Wait or try smaller clips.

"Emergency frames not showing"

β†’ Verify actual detections occurred. Check model settings.

"Can't download processed video"

β†’ Wait for processing to complete. Refresh page.
