Video Analysis Quick Start Guide
5-Minute Setup
1. Upload a Video π¬
Steps:
- Go to πΉ Video Analysis page
- Select detection models:
- β Weapon (guns/knives)
- β Violence (fighting/aggression)
- β Anomaly (unusual behavior)
- β Pose (unsafe positions)
- Click Drag & drop or Click to select video file
- Choose your video (MP4, AVI, MOV, or MKV)
- Click π Analyze Video
Wait for:
- Upload progress (shows %)
- Processing message
- Results to load
2. View Processed Video βΆοΈ
What you'll see:
- Video with colored bounding boxes around detected objects
- Labels showing what was detected
- Confidence percentages for each detection
- Alert indicators for dangerous items/behaviors
Controls:
- β―οΈ Play/Pause
- π Volume
- βΆ Fullscreen
- βͺοΈ Loop
- πΎ Download processed video
Tip: Processed video shows AI analysis in real-time!
3. Review Emergency Frames π¨
Emergency frames are automatically captured when dangerous activity is detected.
How to find them:
- Scroll to "π¨ Emergency Frames (Sensitive/High-Alert)" section
- See thumbnail gallery of critical frames
- Click any thumbnail to see full-size image
- Red "EMERGENCY" badge shows severity
Types captured:
- π« Weapons detected
- π Violence detected
- β Anomalies detected
- β οΈ Critical alerts
4. Check Statistics π
Summary cards show:
- π Total Frames - How many frames in the video
- β Analyzed Frames - How many were actually processed
- π― Detections - Total objects/people/weapons found
- π¨ Alerts - Critical events detected
- π¨ Emergency Frames - High-alert frames captured
5. Re-Analyze with Different Models π
Want to try different detection models on the same video?
Steps:
- Scroll to top of results section
- Click π New Prediction button
- (Optional) Change model selection in Model Selection panel
- System re-analyzes the same video
- View new results with updated detections
Benefits:
- Test different combinations
- Compare model accuracy
- Build prediction history
- NO re-uploading needed
6. View Previous Predictions π
See all analyses performed on this video.
To access:
- Scroll to bottom: "π Previous Predictions" section
- Shows list of all previous analyses
- Each shows:
- Original filename
- When analyzed
- Detection count
- Alert count
- Emergency frames count
- Click View Details to reload that analysis

Tips & Tricks
π‘ Best Results
- Good quality video - Higher resolution = better detection
- Good lighting - Adequate light helps detection
- Clear angles - Position camera to capture threats
- Multiple models - Enable all relevant models for full coverage
β‘ Speed Up Analysis
- Shorter videos process faster
- Lower resolution = faster processing
- Skip irrelevant models to reduce processing time
- Use frame-skip setting if available
πΎ Storage Tips
- Download important emergency frames
- Export processed videos for documentation
- Archive old analyses to free up space
- Back up critical analysis records
π Detailed Review
- Expand frame-wise timeline to see each frame's detections
- Click alert details to understand what triggered it
- View emergency frames for visual confirmation
- Export analysis for reporting

Troubleshooting
"File size exceeds limit"
β Video is > 500MB. Compress or split video.
"No detections found"
β Try enabling more models or check if activity is present.
"Processing taking too long"
β Large videos take longer. Wait or try smaller clips.
"Emergency frames not showing"
β Verify actual detections occurred. Check model settings.
"Can't download processed video"
β Wait for processing to complete. Refresh page.
Next Steps
