This Space is the interactive demo for my Bachelor's thesis on Ukrainian handwriting synthesis using diffusion models. The model (based on DiffusionPen, ECCV 2024) is trained on 126,000 handwritten Ukrainian word images from 308 writers and generates handwritten text conditioned on both the text content and a randomly sampled writer's style.
The demo is being presented at my thesis defense and is publicly available for anyone to explore Ukrainian handwriting generation. All running on ZeroGPU right now.
The ZeroGPU tier works well for normal usage but the guest quota runs out quickly during live presentations with multiple simultaneous users. A GPU grant would allow the demo to remain fully interactive for all attendees during the
defense and for the research community afterward.
