CyberVidya is an open-source, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based AI assistant built to provide real-time, context-aware cybersecurity guidance. It combines transformer-based LLMs with a curated, non-parametric knowledge base to answer queries related to cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies. The project uses tools like LlamaIndex, LangChain, and Hugging Face Transformers, and is aimed at supporting learners, researchers, and professionals in the cybersecurity community. We’re currently working on deploying it as a public-facing chatbot for awareness and educational purposes.
