SLIDE 2: THE PROBLEM
- 461,312 road accidents annually in India (MoRTH 2022)
- 168,491 fatalities — 18.5 deaths EVERY HOUR
- 50% of deaths occur within the Golden Hour (first 60 min)
- Only 20% of victims reach hospital within Golden Hour
Why victims die:
- Bystanders don't know WHERE the nearest hospital is
- Don't know WHICH number to call (beyond 100)
- Fear legal consequences (unaware of Good Samaritan Law)
- On highways, nearest services are unknown
